The owns high-profile projects that determine customer success with the platform, serving as the central point of integration between internal teams and customer stakeholders. They leverage Enterprise IT tools and Tanium best practices to guide both on-site and remote support engagements with precision. This role requires a consultative mindset to translate customer priorities, business objectives, and process hindrances into actionable solution options using the Tanium platform. The hire will identify and solve complex customer IT challenges by coordinating cross-functional resources and ensuring alignment with enterprise service standards. They deliver presentations and develop project artifacts to support clear objectives and maintain project momentum. The role drives the implementation of mature Enterprise Services practices through ongoing practice development opportunities and documentation contributions for internal and public audiences. The Technical Project Manager ensures that project health is tracked, reported, and communicated, while implementing get well plans where appropriate to keep initiatives on track.

What you'll do
Develop detailed project plans and schedules while integrating all necessary interfaces, using critical path analysis to guide risk action plans and mitigation strategies.
Deliver structured presentations to support objectives, ensuring project plans and schedules receive ongoing development and validation with stakeholders.
Track project health and report status rigorously, implementing get well plans where appropriate to address deviations and keep projects aligned with goals.
Contribute to the development of Enterprise Services practices by pursuing practice development opportunities that enhance service maturity and team capability.
Create and refine documentation efforts for both internal and public audiences, ensuring knowledge is captured and shared effectively across the organization.
Apply Agile Certified Practitioner (PMI-ACP) and/or Project Management Professional (PMP) methodologies where appropriate to support structured project execution.
Lead long-term, multi-million dollar implementation projects, coordinating resources and timelines to meet enterprise customer expectations.
Utilize fluency in Japanese to communicate effectively with stakeholders, ensuring clarity and alignment throughout all phases of project delivery.
Translate customer needs, business objectives, and process challenges into solution options that leverage the Tanium platform for measurable outcomes.
Use strong organizational abilities within a team environment to manage competing priorities, meet deadlines, and maintain high standards of quality.
Conduct briefings on large enterprise IT concepts, including general networking, network architectures, and database fundamentals, to ensure shared understanding.
Employ interpersonal communication skills in previous customer-facing roles, consistently going above and beyond to meet customer expectations.
Implement solutions that address customer IT challenges by combining a consultative mindset with project-based execution.
Demonstrate reliability and attention to detail through clear communication, particularly when analyzing scenarios, planning interventions, and measuring outcomes.
Requirements
Fluency in Japanese is mandatory for this role, ensuring effective communication with internal and external stakeholders.
A track record of 10+ years in technical project management or a similar project leadership role is required to demonstrate depth of experience.
The Agile Certified Practitioner (PMI-ACP) and/or Project Management Professional (PMP) certification is a plus, validating structured project management capabilities.
Experience leading long-term, multi-million dollar implementation projects is expected, showing the ability to manage complexity and scale.
A background in network/cyber operations, Service Management, Professional Services, Customer Success, or Consulting is preferred, providing relevant context for enterprise engagements.
Familiarity with general networking, network architectures, and database concepts is necessary to conduct briefings and understand technical discussions.
A minimum of a Bachelor degree or equivalent experience is required, ensuring foundational knowledge and professional maturity.
Candidates must possess a consultative mindset combined with the ability to execute on project-based initiatives within enterprise environments.
The ability to translate customer priorities, business objectives, process hindrances, and tactical operational difficulties into solution options using Tanium is essential.
A commitment to identifying and solving customers' IT challenges through proactive problem-solving and structured analysis is required.
Previous customer-facing roles must demonstrate strong interpersonal communication skills and a dedication to exceeding customer expectations.

Experience with workflow improvement and process optimization, such as analyzing failing processes and designing fixes with measurement frameworks.
Ability to walk through diagnosis, planning, and measurement when asked how to fix a process that is failing.
Familiarity with Tanium platform capabilities and how they can be applied to solve enterprise IT challenges.
Experience contributing to documentation for internal and public audiences, including playbooks, guides, and case studies.
