The hire will act as the primary relationship owner for a portfolio of loyal clients, ensuring high-value retention and identifying expansion opportunities. Day-to-day, the position blends advisory consulting with structured account management to guide customers toward platform maturity. The successful candidate will analyze qualitative and quantitative data to intervene before churn and to drive deeper adoption. They will translate complex platform capabilities into clear value narratives for executive stakeholders. This role requires a consultative mindset and the ability to build trust at multiple organizational levels. Continuous refinement of internal playbooks and feedback loops is central to the function's evolution. Ultimately, the position is responsible for proving the tangible business impact of the Tanium platform through measurable customer success metrics.

The full scope of Tanium solutions is mastered to clearly convey customer value to stakeholders.
You will synthesize customer usage signals to prioritize outreach and training investments for at-risk accounts.
You will partner with Sales to develop and execute strategic account plans that align commercial objectives with technical feasibility.
You will leverage journey mapping to visualize current state and future state maturity for each key account.
You will coordinate cross-functional support to resolve escalations and ensure timely delivery of agreed outcomes.
You will own the creation of executive-facing summaries that highlight adoption trends, health scores, and renewal readiness.
You will mentor junior team members on best practices for data hygiene, communication standards, and stakeholder management.
Requirements
Fluency in Japanese is mandatory for this role.
A BA/BS or equivalent experience is preferred.
Five plus years of experience in Customer Success, Account Management, Sales, Renewals, or Service Management is required, preferably in a SaaS business model.
Consulting and project management capabilities are required to build strategic relationships that generate business value.
Working knowledge of endpoint technology and the areas of major business outcomes for a CIO is required.
Tanium Certified Operator certification is nice to have.
Tanium Certified Administrator certification is nice to have.
Practical notes
Travel ranges from 5 to 15 percent within the regional territory, and onsite or customer-located work may be required as needed.
