What you'll do

Operational decisions are made to enhance safety for assigned principals. Clear communication is maintained with principals, visitors, and team members. New hires complete Executive Protection Field Operations Group onboarding and Executive Protection Action Group cross-training. Standard operating procedures for the Executive Protection Field Operations Group are developed in collaboration with the team. All security logs are maintained and entered accurately. Transports for the CEO family are performed effectively. Executive Protection Field Operations Group vehicles are maintained and serviced. Deliveries are received, documented, and communicated as required. The role serves as the primary point of contact when the Executive Protection Field Operations Group Team Lead is unavailable. Transportation for the CEO family is provided upon request. Actions consistently reflect Tanium's best interests. Travel is supported in coordination with the Executive Protection Action Group. Principal movements are monitored, tracked, and assisted. The CEO's boat is operated and maintained when required. Corporate office duties are performed occasionally.

Requirements

A bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience is preferred. Industry experience in Government, Military, Law Enforcement, or a security role for five or more years is required. Specialized training or experience in Executive Protection and Estate Security is required. Current Basic Life Support certification is required. A valid driver's license is required. A Texas Concealed Carry Permit is required. Successful completion of an Executive Protection course is preferred. Successful completion of a Tactical or Evasive Driving course is preferred. Emergency Medical Technician Basic Life Support certification is preferred. Demonstrated dependability, a positive attitude, and good attendance are required. Authorization to work in the United States is required. Water Safety, Open water rescue, or lifeguard training must be completed within 90 days of hire. Physical effort includes occasional lifting up to 20 pounds, frequent lifting up to 10 pounds, and constant lifting of negligible weight. Balance is maintained on uneven or slippery surfaces. Kneeling and crouching are performed regularly. Reaching, standing, and walking occur for extended periods. Lifting involves raising objects from lower to higher positions using upper extremities and back. Frequent talking conveys detailed instructions at volume levels requiring speech above ambient noise. Hearing distinguishes precise differences in sound. Repetitive motions involve wrists, hands, and fingers. Vision distinguishes true colors, perceives depth, and covers minimum partial field requirements. Work occurs indoors and outdoors, with exposure to variable weather and noise above ambient levels. Hazards include moving mechanical parts, electrical current, work at elevation, high heat, and chemicals.

Practical notes

This role requires travel covering 10% of assignments. Mental abilities include analysis, probing thought, numerical facility, precision with details, flexibility, and clear written and oral communication. Management skills involve directing, recruiting, interviewing, training, and developing team members. Physical demands include light, medium, and heavy work with frequent lifting, pushing, and pulling.
