About the role
Talkiatry is seeking a field-based manager to expand our psychiatric referral network within the Denver area. You will act as the primary point of contact for medical practices, driving growth by connecting patients to our clinical services through direct engagement and relationship management. In this role, you will own the end-to-end lifecycle of provider relationships within your designated territory, identifying opportunities and removing obstacles that prevent efficient referrals. You will translate the value of our integrated mental health solution into compelling narratives for diverse medical audiences. Success in this position requires balancing strategic territory planning with the day-to-day cultivation of trust-based partnerships. You will be responsible for ensuring that provider workflows are streamlined and that patient access to care is seamless and timely. Ultimately, your work will directly impact the speed and scale at which healthcare systems can deliver psychiatric support to their communities.

What you'll do
- Cultivate and maintain partnerships with physicians, practice administrators, and clinical leadership to foster collaborative growth.
- Identify and convert new medical practices into active referral partners through targeted outreach and consultative selling.
- Manage a portfolio of existing accounts to increase referral volume and ensure high levels of provider satisfaction and retention.
- Execute territory strategies that balance penetration, expansion, and renewal to meet and surpass growth and retention objectives.
- Conduct in-person practice visits, presentations, and community outreach events to build brand awareness and thought leadership.
- Resolve operational barriers that impede efficient referral workflows, ensuring issues are addressed promptly and systematically.
- Record all account activity, insights, and interactions within HubSpot to maintain accurate and up-to-date account intelligence.
- Represent the company at health system functions, medical conferences, and industry events to strengthen our professional presence.
- Analyze referral patterns and provider feedback to inform adjustments to engagement strategies and service offerings.
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders to align on solutions that address provider pain points and enhance the referral experience.
Requirements
- 3-6 years of experience in healthcare sales, physician liaison roles, clinical outreach, or business development within a healthcare environment.
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Communications, Healthcare Administration, Psychology, or a related field that provides a foundational understanding of organizational behavior.
- Documented history of achieving or exceeding sales quotas, referral growth targets, or performance metrics in a previous role.
- Ability to travel within the assigned territory approximately 75% of the time, requiring frequent absence from the remote-based home office.
- Proficiency with CRM software, specifically demonstrated experience managing complex accounts and pipeline data in a digital system.
- A valid driver's license and reliable transportation necessary to conduct in-person visits across a dispersed geographic territory.
- Eligibility to work in the United States without sponsorship, as Talkiatry participates in E-Verify and requires authorization to work in the U.S.
