About the role
In this dynamic, field-based role, you will be instrumental in enhancing our psychiatric referral network by establishing and nurturing relationships with medical practices and health systems throughout the Miami region. As the main liaison for clinical leaders and administrative personnel, you will oversee the entire partnership lifecycle, from initial outreach to fostering long-term growth and collaboration.

What you'll do
- Identify and engage new medical practices to join our referral network, ensuring a steady flow of patient referrals.
- Oversee a portfolio of existing partnerships, focusing on increasing referral volumes while ensuring high levels of satisfaction among providers.
- Conduct in-person visits to medical practices, delivering presentations and participating in community outreach initiatives to promote our services.
- Formulate and implement strategic plans for your territory to achieve growth and retention objectives effectively.
- Address and resolve operational challenges related to referral workflows, ensuring smooth collaboration with our partners.
- Maintain comprehensive records of all account activities and interactions using our customer relationship management (CRM) system.
- Act as a representative of the company at industry events and health system functions, enhancing our visibility and reputation in the field.
- Collaborate with internal teams to align on goals and share insights from the field that can inform broader business strategies.
- Monitor industry trends and competitor activities to identify new opportunities for partnership and growth.
- Provide feedback and suggestions for improving our services based on interactions with providers and their needs.
- Engage in continuous learning and professional development to stay updated on best practices in healthcare partnerships.
Requirements
- A minimum of 3 to 6 years of experience in roles focused on clinical outreach, physician liaison activities, or healthcare business development.
- A bachelor's degree in Business, Communications, Healthcare Administration, Psychology, or a related discipline.
- Willingness to travel within the designated territory approximately 75% of the time to meet with partners and attend events.
- Conversational proficiency in both English and Spanish to effectively communicate with a diverse range of stakeholders.
- A proven track record of meeting or surpassing sales or referral growth targets in previous roles.
- Experience in influencing and engaging with clinical stakeholders and medical administrators to foster partnerships.
Nice to have
- Familiarity with CRM platforms such as HubSpot or Salesforce to manage relationships and track performance effectively.
- Previous experience in psychiatric or behavioral health settings, providing insight into the unique challenges and needs of this field.
