About the role
In this position, you will be a key player in Talkdesk's Professional Services team, focusing on the implementation of advanced CXA and CCaaS solutions tailored for clients in the healthcare and life sciences sectors. Your role will involve ensuring that projects align with client objectives while delivering exceptional service throughout the implementation process.

What you'll do
- Oversee the strategic deployment of CXA and CCaaS solutions for both new and existing clients, utilizing your industry expertise and product knowledge.
- Serve as the main technical contact for clients during projects, concentrating on the design, development, and deployment of integrations with major EHR/EMR systems, particularly Epic.
- Create and troubleshoot intricate workflows and data exchange processes, including HL7 and FHIR standards.
- Ensure that integrations are secure, dependable, and compliant with industry regulations.
- Act as a Subject Matter Expert for Epic and other EHR systems like Cerner and Athenahealth.
- Develop reusable resources, best practices, and knowledge base content to enhance integration delivery.
- Provide guidance and direct support to internal teams, external partners, and clients during the implementation of Talkdesk products, ensuring technical alignment and project success.
- Collaborate with internal departments, such as Product and Support, to address feature requests, resolve issues, and implement updates that meet customer needs.
- Contribute to the ongoing creation of CXA-specific templates, playbooks, and best practices to improve deployment efficiency and maintain high implementation standards.
- Build strong relationships with stakeholders, offering strategic advice on CXA initiatives to ensure long-term success.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in a technical discipline or equivalent professional experience in a technical role.
- At least 5 years of experience in Professional Services, Consulting, or IT/Software Development, focusing on AI or automation solutions in a SaaS context.
- Minimum of 3 years of direct experience with Epic integration in healthcare systems is essential.
- Familiarity with integrating Electronic Health Record (EHR) systems such as Cerner, Allscripts, eClinicalWorks, or Athenahealth is advantageous.
- Understanding of healthcare compliance frameworks like HIPAA, HITECH, and CMS guidelines.
- Proficiency in programming languages such as JavaScript, MUMPS (M), Python, and SQL.
- Strong grasp of AI-driven automation applications.
- Experience collaborating with cross-functional teams in pre-sales, implementation, or customer success roles.
- Excellent communication skills and ability to manage stakeholder relationships, including executive-level interactions.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities with a proactive approach to achieving results.
- Ability to convey technical concepts to individuals with varying levels of expertise.
- Professional demeanor and positive attitude, with a focus on client management.
- Engaging personality with polished verbal and written communication skills and attention to detail.
- Highly organized self-starter who seeks challenging opportunities.

- Proficiency in both written and spoken English.
Nice to have
- Proficiency in additional languages such as Portuguese, Spanish, French, or German.
- Basic understanding of developing or optimizing chatbots, conversational agents, or virtual assistants.
- Familiarity with CRM systems like Salesforce or Zendesk and/or Contact Center Solutions.
- Experience with flowchart software such as Visio or Lucid Chart.
Pay Range (OTE Pay): $123,000 - $205,000
Other Types of
Pay: Depending on the role and level, employees may qualify for long-term incentives in equity and short-term incentives in the form of bonuses or commissions.
