About the role
As a , you will play a vital role in supporting the operations of our Production and Assembly (P&A) team. This position is designed for individuals who are eager to learn and grow within the oil and gas industry, particularly in the areas of production support and assembly processes. You will be working closely with experienced professionals, gaining hands-on experience and contributing to the efficiency and safety of our operations in Harvey, Louisiana.

What you'll do
- Assist in the assembly and disassembly of equipment used in production processes, ensuring all components are handled with care and precision.
- Support the P&A team in the preparation and maintenance of tools and equipment, ensuring they are in optimal working condition for daily operations.
- Participate in routine inspections and maintenance of production equipment, identifying any issues that may require attention.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure adherence to safety protocols and best practices in all operational activities.
- Document and report on daily activities, including equipment status and any incidents that occur during operations.
- Help in the loading and unloading of materials and equipment, ensuring safe handling and transportation.
- Assist in the training of new team members, sharing knowledge and best practices to foster a collaborative work environment.
- Engage in continuous learning opportunities, including attending training sessions and workshops to enhance your skills and knowledge in the field.
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment, ensuring that all tools and materials are stored properly and safely.
- Support the implementation of process improvements, providing feedback and suggestions to enhance operational efficiency.
- Participate in team meetings and contribute to discussions regarding project updates and operational challenges.
- Work closely with supervisors to understand project goals and timelines, ensuring that tasks are completed on schedule.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent; technical training or certification in a related field is a plus.
- At least 1-2 years of experience in a similar role within the oil and gas industry or a related field.
- Basic understanding of production and assembly processes, with a willingness to learn more.
- Strong attention to detail and the ability to follow instructions accurately.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, to effectively collaborate with team members and supervisors.
- Ability to work in a physically demanding environment, including lifting heavy objects and standing for extended periods.
- Familiarity with safety regulations and practices in industrial settings.
- A proactive attitude and a strong work ethic, demonstrating reliability and commitment to the team.
- Basic computer skills for documentation and reporting purposes.

- Experience with hand and power tools commonly used in assembly and maintenance tasks.
- Knowledge of hydraulic and pneumatic systems.
