In this role, you will own the strategic sourcing decisions that impact product availability, cost savings, and supplier performance across multiple branch locations. You will be accountable for balancing inventory levels with demand fluctuations while enforcing strict cost controls and margin management. This position requires ownership of vendor relationships, negotiation outcomes, and the continuous improvement of purchasing processes to drive efficiency. You will own the analysis of market conditions and translate this data into actionable purchasing strategies. Furthermore, you will own the collaboration with logistics and sales teams to resolve issues and streamline the flow of goods. Ultimately, this role owns the critical link between supply market dynamics and the company's financial performance in the region.

What you'll do

• You will execute the basic function to oversee and purchase products and materials cost effectively for the branches within the region, while maintaining a balance of inventory in relation to sales.

Requirements

• You need 3-5 years Purchasing experience or a college degree in Supply Chain Management with internship.
• You need product or plastics industry knowledge as a plus to understand technical specifications and supplier capabilities.
• You need experience on a computerized purchasing system to manage transactions and reports efficiently.
• You need to be extremely detail oriented and organized to manage multiple purchase orders and vendor communications accurately.
• You need strong negotiating expertise to secure favorable terms and resolve conflicts with suppliers.
• You need excellent communication skills to interface with vendors and inside staff in Warehouse, Sales, and Management.
• You need the ability to prioritize tasks and make sound decisions in a fast-paced environment.
• You need strong interpersonal skills to build and maintain effective relationships with internal and external partners.
