Senior Conversion Rate Optimization Manager
Job description
About the role
You are the first dedicated Conversion Rate Optimization leader at Suno, owning the end-to-end performance of our conversion funnel across web and app stores. You will translate raw user behavior and market data into high-impact landing pages, app store listings, and onboarding flows that directly drive installs and revenue. This role demands an intense ownership mindset where you are accountable for conversion rate, install rate, CAC, and revenue per visitor without managing a team. You will act as the voice of the customer, shaping every page, headline, and test based on a deep understanding of who our ideal user is and what drives them to convert. You will work at the intersection of marketing and product, partnering closely with User Acquisition, Lifecycle, Product, Engineering, and Data Science to turn insights into shipped experiments. This is a performance-focused position where your impact is measured by how quickly and reliably you move the numbers through relentless testing. You will leverage our existing design system to ship pages and listings fast, prioritizing speed and volume in experimentation while maintaining on-brand, persuasive copy. The role is built for a hacker who thrives in a fast-paced environment and is obsessed with learning at scale rather than perfecting systems that do not exist yet.
Key facts
What you'll do
Investigate our ideal customer in granular detail and convert those insights into high-converting landing pages, app store listings, and targeted copy for every channel.
Ship a high volume of landing pages tailored to specific audiences, using our design system components to assemble pages quickly for paid, SEO, lifecycle, partnerships, and new launches.
Own app store optimization end to end, including listing copy, screenshots, and store creative that turn views into installs, and manage the handoff into onboarding for maximum continuity.
Localize and adapt pages and store listings for international markets to ensure conversion consistency across languages, regions, and cultural contexts.
Write persuasive, on-brand copy and assemble pages from existing design components, then iterate rapidly through A/B and multivariate testing.
Run experiments at significant volume using a scrappy, AI-enhanced toolkit to test more variations faster than traditional methods allow.
Analyze user behavior with heatmaps, session recordings, surveys, and funnel analytics to identify drop-off points and underlying causes.
Hunt down the highest-leverage opportunities by combining performance data, user research, and business context across the entire acquisition and retention funnel.
Own conversion metrics end to end across web and app, including conversion rate, install rate, CAC, and revenue per visitor for both paid and organic sources.
Collaborate with Revenue Product on paywall and upsell copy that is clear, compelling, and aligned with the value proposition users expect.
Push the volume and speed of conversion testing beyond current levels and evangelize learnings throughout the company to drive organization-wide improvements.
Establish rigorous experiment documentation and reporting so that every test clearly ties back to business outcomes and informs future strategy.
Maintain a relentless focus on quality and accuracy in copy while moving at high velocity to maximize the number of shots on goal.
Continuously refine hypotheses based on qualitative and quantitative signals, ensuring that testing efforts compound over time rather than repeating past mistakes.
Requirements
You are a hacker who moves fast, ships a lot, and has run a high volume of tests without relying on a large team to execute.
You bring 5-8 years of experience in performance marketing, growth marketing, or conversion rate optimization, with a proven track record of owning conversion and funnel testing at scale on the web and in app stores, including ASO.
You can write clear, persuasive landing page copy that converts and deeply understand the customer journey enough to know what language drives action.
You can read an experiment and extract meaningful insights quickly, using data to guide the next round of tests rather than intuition alone.
You are comfortable working directly with production code and design system templates, using tools outside of Figma to assemble pages and listings rapidly.
You have experience localizing content and adapting creative for multiple markets while preserving conversion integrity across regions and languages.
You are rigorous in measurement, defining and tracking core metrics such as conversion rate, install rate, CAC, and revenue per visitor with precision.
You thrive in an environment where speed, volume, and rapid learning are prioritized over perfection, and you are comfortable making decisions with incomplete information.
Nice to have
Experience working with AI tools to accelerate copywriting and experimentation in a high-growth environment.
A background in music, entertainment, or creative consumer products that aligns with Suno's mission and audience.
Familiarity with music industry user behaviors and motivations, including creators, performers, and casual listeners.
