Senior Staff Full Stack Engineer
Job description
About the role
You are a senior full stack individual contributor who drops into the most ambiguous, cross-stack problems at Strava before prescribing a fix. You will own the diagnosis of high-stakes issues that span client and server, navigating systems you did not build and teams you do not directly manage. This role exists to unblock critical product bets by reasoning fluently across iOS, Android, Go, and Scala platforms. You will act as a trusted agent of change, set technical direction, and partner with leadership to surface and attack recurring product and technical opportunities. Your work will directly impact organic growth and subscriber value initiatives as you bridge what is on fire today with what needs to be built next, including newly integrated parts of the business like our work with Runna. You will operate with senior judgment in ambiguous environments, earning the trust of leadership while driving measurable impact on the company's riskiest technical bets.
