About the role
You will own the end-to-end strategy, planning, and execution of the B2B content program for Strava for Business. You will build a structured content plan that maps the full buyer journey from awareness through to active consideration. You will identify content gaps and develop original formats that leverage Strava's unique data position, including trend reports, audience insight pieces, seasonal stories, and industry narratives. You will produce a high-impact content calendar that spans owned and distributed channels such as organic social, email, events, and PR. You will drive compelling case studies with brand-side leaders and extract clear ROI proof points for the program. You will align closely with the Strava for Business marketing team so that content feeds directly into campaigns, events, and outreach. You will collaborate with external communications and PR partners to ensure distribution amplifies the program's reach and impact.

What you'll do
- Own the B2B content program end-to-end, from initial audit through to execution and optimization.
- Build a structured content plan that covers the full buyer journey, mapping touchpoints from awareness to active consideration.
- Identify content gaps and develop original formats that draw on Strava's unique data position, producing trend reports, audience insight pieces, seasonal stories, and industry narratives.
- Produce a high-impact content calendar that coordinates owned and distributed channels including organic social, email, events, and PR.
- Drive compelling case studies with brand-side leaders, highlighting clear ROI proof points and measurable outcomes.
- Align with the SfB marketing team so content feeds directly into campaigns, events, and outreach initiatives.
- Collaborate with external communications and PR partners to shape distribution strategies and maximize audience reach.
- Translate complex platform capabilities into clear narratives that help brands and agencies understand why Strava is the best platform to reach and engage active people.
- Manage external contributors such as writers, designers, and creators while preserving the original vision and quality of the program.
- Apply strong editorial judgment to make independent decisions without heavy oversight, ensuring content remains sharp and focused.
- Use data as a creative input, finding narratives within datasets and translating them into structured, audience-focused content.
- Maintain rigorous standards as an excellent writer and editor, developing a clear point of view on what makes B2B content worth reading.
Requirements
- Proven B2B content experience, ideally gained at a platform, media owner, or tech company working with brands and agencies.
- Deep understanding of how digital platforms work from the inside, including audience dynamics, product mechanics, and advertising models.
- Comfortable using data as a creative input, with the ability to find the narrative in a dataset and translate it into compelling content.
- Strong editorial judgment and the capacity to make decisions independently without requiring heavy oversight.
- Experience managing external contributors, such as writers, designers, and creators, without losing the original vision or quality.
- An excellent writer and rigorous editor with a clear point of view on what makes B2B content valuable and engaging.
- Experience building and maintaining content programs that speak to both enterprise and agency audiences.
- Ability to work within a 6-month contract timeline and adapt to the evolving priorities of a growth-stage business.
Nice to have
- Experience with sponsorship or partnership marketing within the sports, fitness, or active lifestyle sectors.
- Familiarity with community-driven platforms and how they generate engagement at scale.
- Background in data-led storytelling or the creation of insight reports that influence brand strategy.

Practical notes
This is a 6-month contract role based in Strava London with eligibility for remote work. The position requires availability within the UK or NYC time zones to support collaboration with the global team.
