About the role
As a , you will play a vital role within the Commercial Excellence team by designing, developing, and implementing scalable and efficient sales processes. Your primary responsibility will be to ensure that workflows across the Revenue organization are optimized, standardized, and aligned with the company's strategic goals. You will work closely with stakeholders from various departments, including sales, client success, product, and operations, to translate operational needs into actionable process improvements. This role requires a strong understanding of sales operations, process design, and system automation to support the company's growth and ensure revenue management. You will be a key driver in maintaining process governance, monitoring KPIs, and fostering continuous improvement initiatives that contribute to the overall efficiency and effectiveness of the sales organization.

What you'll do
- Take responsibility for designing, documenting, and rolling out end-to-end sales processes across key areas such as CRM, customer lifecycle management, contract and subscription handling, data flows, and revenue reporting.
- Collaborate with stakeholders from senior leadership, sales teams, client success, and revenue departments to gather requirements, evaluate operational pain points, and translate these into prioritized, actionable process and system specifications.
- Define detailed business requirements for system workflows, fields, automations, and integrations, particularly focusing on platforms like Salesforce, to ensure they meet business needs and are technically feasible.
- Work closely with Product, Operations, and Tech teams to ensure the successful implementation of process improvements, automations, and system updates, providing clear guidance and support throughout the development cycle.
- Facilitate stakeholder alignment during the design and solutioning phases by mapping end-to-end workflows, defining process handovers across departments, and managing communication plans for major process releases.
- Maintain a centralized, authoritative source of truth for commercial standards, sales policies, rules of engagement, and standard operating procedures (SOPs) to ensure compliance, governance, and auditability.
- Define, monitor, and analyze key process KPIs to measure success, identify bottlenecks or inefficiencies, and drive continuous improvement initiatives. Regularly report on process performance and impact to senior leadership to inform strategic decision-making.
- Support the development and refinement of sales and revenue processes by analyzing data, identifying trends, and recommending process adjustments to optimize performance.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure sales processes are integrated smoothly with other business functions such as finance, marketing, and customer success.
- Provide training, documentation, and ongoing support to sales and revenue teams to ensure they understand and adhere to defined processes and system workflows.
- Ensure all sales processes comply with company policies and industry standards, maintaining high levels of governance and audit readiness.
- Assist in the development of process automation initiatives to reduce manual effort, improve accuracy, and accelerate sales cycles.
- Participate in cross-departmental projects to support company growth initiatives, ensuring sales processes scale effectively with the business.
- Act as a point of contact for process-related questions, troubleshooting issues, and continuous process improvement suggestions from sales and revenue teams.
- Keep abreast of industry best practices, new tools, and emerging trends in sales operations and process management to bring innovative ideas into the organization.
Requirements
- Proven experience in sales process design, revenue operations, or sales enablement within a B2B or SaaS environment.
- Hands-on experience working with CRM systems, especially Salesforce, including defining reporting structures, dashboards, and automations.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex business requirements and translate them into clear, actionable process documentation.
- Demonstrated project management capabilities, with experience coordinating process development cycles, system releases, and cross-functional deliverables.
- Excellent stakeholder management skills, with the ability to communicate effectively across various seniority levels and departments.
- Fluency in English is required; proficiency in German is considered a plus.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment, managing multiple priorities and deadlines.
- Knowledge of revenue reporting, data flows, and process automation tools.
- Familiarity with industry standards, compliance requirements, and governance related to sales and revenue processes.
- Strong problem-solving skills and a proactive approach to identifying and resolving process inefficiencies.
- Experience in a high-growth SaaS company or similar fast-scaling environment is advantageous.
- Ability to adapt to changing business needs and to implement scalable solutions that support company expansion.
