This role serves as the primary growth anchor, working in close collaboration with Brand & Marketing, Engineering, and Executive Leadership to uncover and capture high-impact opportunities. The hire will lead the identification, development, and closure of complex deals that enable clients to deliver trailblazing products and operational changes. You will be responsible for building a robust pipeline within target verticals and converting competitive insights into actionable sales strategies. This position demands a results-driven individual who thrives in a fast-paced, collaborative environment while maintaining strict ownership of the sales funnel. You will represent the company at the highest level, ensuring that every interaction aligns with Squad's ambition for impactful market presence. Ultimately, the role is about establishing and sustaining revenue streams that position the business for long-term success.

What you'll do
- Lead the entire enterprise sales cycle, conducting strategic identification, deep qualification, complex negotiation, and final closure of high-value deals.
- Build and manage a robust, high-value sales pipeline within priority verticals to ensure consistent revenue generation and growth.
- Analyze emerging industry trends and the competitive landscape to uncover opportunities and mitigate potential threats.
- Collaborate cross-functionally with Brand & Marketing, Engineering, Delivery, and Management to align solutions with client needs and internal capabilities.
- Create compelling proposals, advanced deal structures, and detailed case studies that clearly communicate value and differentiate our offerings.
- Represent Squad at major industry events, conferences, and ecosystem engagements to elevate brand presence and generate leads.
- Supervise business development and sales representatives, providing guidance, feedback, and performance optimization to meet targets.
- Maintain CRM data hygiene to ensure accurate pipeline visibility, reliable forecasting, and informed decision-making.
- Leverage AI tools for research, prospecting, and outreach tasks to increase efficiency and improve targeting accuracy.
- Utilize experience selling enterprise solutions or services to navigate complex buying processes and secure long-term contracts.
- Develop advanced proposals and deal structures tailored to enterprise clients, addressing their specific challenges and requirements.
- Present to both technical and non-technical audiences, adapting communication style to ensure clarity and stakeholder alignment.
- Demonstrate willingness and ability to travel for industry events, client meetings, and strategic engagements that expand our market reach.
- Maintain at least an Upper-Intermediate level of written and spoken English to ensure professional and precise communication.
- Use experience with CRM platforms such as HubSpot, Sales Navigator, and Apollo to track opportunities and manage relationships.
- Apply experience with AI-driven research and outreach tools to enhance prospecting efforts and streamline sales activities.
- Draw on past experience creating successful proposals and closing deals for enterprise clients to replicate best practices.
- Work effectively across functions, coordinating with technical and non-technical teams to ensure seamless execution and client satisfaction.
Requirements
- Hold a Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Computer Science, Engineering, or a similar field that provides a relevant academic foundation.
- Bring 3 or more years of hands-on experience in business development or sales within the technology sector.
- Show prior experience selling enterprise solutions or services to complex organizational buyers.
- Demonstrate proficiency with CRM tools such as HubSpot, as well as Sales Navigator and Apollo for pipeline management.
- Have experience leveraging AI tools to support research, prospecting, and outreach in a sales context.
- Possess a proven ability to create persuasive proposals and structured deals that meet enterprise client expectations.
- Exhibit experience collaborating across functions, working comfortably with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Comfortably present to diverse audiences, articulating value propositions to both technical evaluators and executive decision-makers.
- Confirm willingness and capability to travel for industry events, partner meetings, and other engagements that support business growth.
- Maintain a minimum Upper-Intermediate level of written and spoken English to ensure effective professional communication.

- Have background experience in technology, AI, IoT, cybersecurity, or engineering services industries, understanding their specific dynamics.
- Familiarity with partner network management platforms such as those used in the AWS Partner Network to manage relationships and incentives.
- Practical experience with structured sales methodologies like BANT, SPIN, or MEDDPICC to guide deal progression.
- Demonstrated ability to lead complex, multi-year initiatives that involve cross-team coordination and long-term planning.
- Possess a proven track record of public speaking or thought leadership, contributing to personal brand and company visibility.
- Maintain an active, high-leverage network of enterprise contacts, technical domain experts, and established tech communities that can accelerate opportunity flow.
Practical notes
The role requires travel for industry events and ecosystem engagements. Remote working is available within Ukraine only. The position involves gig-contract arrangements, with 21 paid vacation days per year and paid public holidays as per Ukrainian legislation.
