What you'll do

• Collaborate with project stakeholders to define project scope, objectives, and deliverables, ensuring alignment with business goals.
• Develop comprehensive project plans that outline tasks, timelines, resources, and budgets, facilitating effective project execution.
• Monitor project progress and performance, identifying any deviations from the plan and implementing corrective actions as necessary.
• Facilitate regular project meetings, providing updates to stakeholders and ensuring clear communication throughout the project lifecycle.
• Coordinate with various teams, including development, design, and quality assurance, to ensure seamless collaboration and timely delivery of project milestones.
• Manage project risks by identifying potential issues early and developing mitigation strategies to minimize impact on project timelines and outcomes.
• Prepare and present project status reports to senior management, highlighting key achievements, challenges, and areas for improvement.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Project Management, or a related field.
• A minimum of 2 years of experience in project management or a related role, preferably within a technology or consulting environment.
• Strong understanding of project management methodologies and tools, such as Agile, Scrum, or Waterfall.
• Excellent organizational and time management skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, capable of engaging with diverse stakeholders effectively.
• Proficiency in project management software, such as Microsoft Project, Trello, or Asana, to track project progress and manage tasks.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a keen attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team, demonstrating flexibility and adaptability in a dynamic environment.

Nice to have

• Project Management Professional (PMP) certification or equivalent is a plus.
• Experience in managing software development projects or IT-related initiatives.

Skills & tools

• Understanding of risk management frameworks and techniques to proactively address project challenges.

Practical notes

• This position is based in Pune, Maharashtra, and may require occasional travel for client meetings or project-related activities.
• The salary for this role will be competitive and commensurate with experience, with additional benefits offered by Bamboohr.
