What you'll do

• Manage the entire process of obtaining and maintaining all necessary authorizations and spectrum rights for Starlink, ensuring compliance and operational readiness.
• Collaborate with engineering teams within Starlink to foresee upcoming regulatory requirements and proactively prepare for them.
• Formulate and promote policies regarding ground infrastructure, broadband access, and spectrum management that align with the company's strategic objectives in both domestic and international markets.
• Provide expert guidance to internal stakeholders on pertinent laws, regulations, and policy changes, devising actionable plans to achieve business goals.
• Act as a representative of SpaceX in discussions with regulatory agencies, legislative entities, and regional organizations, advocating for the company's interests.
• Draft and submit filings, correspondence, and other documentation that support and advance SpaceX's policy objectives.
• Analyze and interpret regulatory developments, assessing their potential impact on Starlink operations and advising the team accordingly.
• Engage in stakeholder outreach to build relationships with key government officials and organizations, fostering collaboration and support for SpaceX initiatives.

Requirements

• A bachelor's degree in a relevant field is required.
• At least one year of experience in regulatory policy or business analytics is essential.
• A minimum of one year of overall professional experience is necessary.
• Candidates must be willing to work extended hours and weekends as needed to meet critical deadlines.
• Availability for travel up to 40% of the time is expected.
• Strong analytical skills and the ability to interpret complex regulatory frameworks are crucial.

• Familiarity with regulations surrounding satellite operations and spectrum usage is advantageous.
