What you'll do

• Execute daily cycle counts to verify inventory accuracy and rapidly resolve discrepancies in the data flow.
• Utilize data analytics to highlight process constraints and system weaknesses, then spearhead corrective actions to improve safety and delivery metrics.
• Partner with production leadership and subject matter experts to secure part availability and resolve material shortages through coordinated efforts.
• Scrutinize area performance metrics to spot trends and compile data-driven reports that deliver clear insights to executive stakeholders.
• Supply essential data support for design decisions, execute critical task lists, and monitor project timelines to guarantee on-time completion.
• Analyze and validate data integrity by applying your knowledge of system logic and operational workflows to ensure reliability.

Requirements

• Hold a Bachelor's degree in a relevant field or demonstrate equivalent practical experience.
• Possess 1 or more years of hands-on experience in operations, manufacturing, or supply chain environments.
• Must be capable of working extended hours, including weekends, to meet the demands of critical project timelines.
• This role is located onsite at the Starbase facility; remote work arrangements are not available.
• Must be a U.S. citizen, lawful permanent resident, refugee, or asylee, or be eligible to obtain the necessary U.S. Department of State authorizations due to ITAR regulations.
• Ability to pass background checks and security screenings as required for access to sensitive operational areas.
• Compliance with all SpaceX policies, procedures, and safety protocols is mandatory for all personnel.
• Willingness to adhere to strict data governance and confidentiality standards when handling proprietary information.
• Readiness to contribute in a dynamic environment where priorities can shift rapidly based on launch and production schedules.

Nice to have

• Hands-on experience with SQL to conduct operations analysis and extract meaningful insights from databases.
• Familiarity with business intelligence platforms such as PowerBI or Tableau to build interactive dashboards.
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel features like pivot tables, VLOOKUP, and complex formulas.

• Exposure to inventory management and production systems, including MRP and ERP platforms.
• History of managing projects that involve tight schedules and ambiguous problem statements.
• Basic knowledge of Supply Chain and Inventory Control theories and practices.

• Track record of influencing decisions through effective information sharing and stakeholder engagement.
• Exposure to lean manufacturing, six sigma, or other continuous improvement methodologies.
• Capacity to work independently with minimal supervision while thriving under pressure.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills to articulate ideas clearly to diverse audiences.
