About the role
The team runs service operations and quality control to deliver a consistent food and beverage experience under the General Manager's direction. You own the end to end execution of food and beverage service standards, ensuring member and guest experience aligns with the brand promise across service channels. This role requires you to translate operational strategy into daily actions, balancing staffing oversight, budget adherence, and vendor collaboration to meet targeted financial and experience goals. You will act as a decisive leader who documents decisions clearly, shares progress proactively, and builds workflows that make your team's work easy to review and scale. Success in this position depends on your ability to take ownership of special projects, analyze trends, and implement action plans that mitigate risk while enhancing the guest journey. You will foster a culture of written communication, continuous improvement, and cross functional partnership to drive efficient and effective best practices. Your work will directly influence the reputation and profitability of the food and beverage operation at the house.

What you'll do
Establish service standards and monitor compliance to ensure member and guest experience remains consistent and high quality.
Own staffing oversight, including scheduling, performance management, and training, to meet operational needs and financial targets.
Develop menus, purchasing strategies, and vendor relationships while driving continuous improvement in goods and service offerings.
Identify customer needs through data and direct feedback, then create and execute action plans to enhance experience and reduce operational risk.
Implement and maintain key performance indicators, schedules, policies, and procedures aligned with People & Development guidelines.
Lead recruitment efforts by attracting, retaining, and training high potential hires for staff and finance roles in support of business objectives.
Leverage POS, Open Table, Opera, and other hospitality technologies to optimize service delivery and reporting accuracy.
Coordinate special projects on daily, weekly, and monthly schedules to achieve operational goals and strategic initiatives.
Ensure strict adherence to local health and safety compliance regulations across all food and beverage activities.
Foster team awareness, ownership, and accountability through transparent communication that emphasizes motivation and collaborative results.
Act as an influential leader who communicates effectively across functions and drives best practices through service excellence and data informed decisions.
Manage personnel in a way that meets or exceeds financial targets while maintaining a guest oriented, service minded, and flexible culture.
Champion knowledge of food and beverage trends to keep the operation innovative, relevant, and aligned with member expectations.
Maintain detailed records and written communication to support decision making, continuity, and scalability of the operation.
Requirements
A minimum of 5+ years' experience in a similar capacity in the hospitality or food service industry is required.
Candidates must be detail oriented, process driven, and able to problem solve in high volume, demanding fast paced environments.
Proficiency with POS systems, Open Table, Opera, or other hospitality driven technologies is necessary for success in this role.
An influential leader who communicates effectively cross functionally and leads a team to implement efficient and effective service best practices.
Demonstrated knowledge of food and beverage trends and local health and safety compliance regulations is essential for this position.
The ability to manage personnel, budgets, and financial targets while maintaining high standards of service is required.
Candidates must be guest oriented, service minded, flexible, and proactive in anticipating needs and resolving issues.
A Bachelor's degree is required as part of the formal education requirements for this role.

Preferred candidates will have experience leading teams in a luxury hospitality environment with a strong focus on member experience.
Familiarity with Soho House operations, culture, and brand standards is highly valued for this role.
Experience with special projects that require cross functional coordination and data analysis is preferred.

This role is based in California; compensation reflects local market ranges.
Physical demands include frequent grasping, turning, and holding objects; quick movement across the property; lifting at least 30 pounds; and occasional kneeling, bending, crouching, and climbing.
Extended periods of standing, walking, lifting, and bending are required.
