What you'll do
- Collaborate with senior leadership to develop and implement HR strategies that support business goals and enhance organizational performance.
- Act as a trusted advisor to management on HR-related matters, providing insights and recommendations to improve workforce effectiveness.
- Lead talent management initiatives, including succession planning, performance management, and employee development programs.
- Drive employee engagement efforts by designing and executing programs that promote a positive workplace culture and enhance employee satisfaction.
- Analyze workforce data to identify trends and areas for improvement, leveraging insights to inform decision-making and strategic planning.
- Partner with the recruitment team to ensure alignment on talent acquisition strategies and to attract top talent that fits SoFi's culture.
- Facilitate training and development programs aimed at enhancing leadership capabilities and fostering a culture of continuous learning.
- Manage employee relations issues, providing guidance and support to resolve conflicts and promote a respectful workplace.
- Ensure compliance with employment laws and regulations, maintaining up-to-date knowledge of HR best practices and industry trends.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive diversity, equity, and inclusion initiatives, ensuring a diverse workforce that reflects our community.
- Provide coaching and support to managers on performance management processes and employee development plans.
- Contribute to the design and implementation of compensation and benefits programs that attract and retain top talent.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field; a Master's degree or HR certification is a plus.
- A minimum of 7 years of progressive HR experience, with a focus on business partnering and talent management.
- Proven track record of successfully implementing HR strategies that drive business results in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong analytical skills, with the ability to interpret data and provide actionable insights to stakeholders.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build relationships at all levels of the organization.
- Experience in employee engagement initiatives and a deep understanding of organizational culture dynamics.
- Knowledge of employment laws and regulations, ensuring compliance and best practices in HR operations.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and projects simultaneously, demonstrating strong organizational skills.
- Proficiency in HRIS and other HR-related software tools to streamline processes and enhance reporting capabilities.
