About the role
You will serve as a trusted advisor to Engineering leadership, providing candid, data-driven counsel on organizational, talent, and leadership decisions critical to the era of the agentic enterprise. You will partner with AI-native thinkers, helping them leverage AI as a high-trust collaborator to solve problems and accelerate impact while maintaining a low-ego, experimental mindset. You will help shape how world-class engineering teams scale, evolve, and deliver in a rapidly changing technology landscape. You will translate business priorities into an integrated people strategy across organizational design, workforce planning, and leadership development. You will lead high-impact initiatives that drive innovation, scale, and organizational effectiveness across the engineering organization.

What you'll do
Partner with Engineering leadership to provide strategic counsel on organizational design, workforce planning, and talent management initiatives critical to scaling innovation.
Translate complex business priorities into integrated people strategies that align talent management, succession planning, and leadership development with engineering objectives.
Lead data-driven initiatives including organizational health assessments, retention strategies, and talent assessments to identify and close capability gaps.
Coach Engineering leaders to elevate team performance, organizational health, and leadership effectiveness through evidence-based recommendations and candid feedback.
Guide teams through periods of growth and transformation, helping leaders navigate ambiguity while sustaining momentum and engagement.
Collaborate closely with People Centers of Excellence (COEs) to design and deliver scalable, high-impact solutions tailored specifically to Engineering needs.
Apply data, insights, and emerging AI capabilities to enhance decision-making, amplify impact, and evolve people practices in line with technological change.
Assess and interpret organizational health signals, delivering clear insights on engagement, performance, attrition, and diversity metrics to inform action plans.
Contribute to cross-functional People Partner initiatives that shape support models for technical organizations across Snowflake's global footprint.
Drive the execution of people strategies that balance strategic thinking with hands-on implementation in fast-paced, high-growth environments.
Champion continuous improvement in People processes and systems, ensuring they enable innovation and adapt to evolving engineering demands.
Leverage curiosity and a bias for action to test emerging tools and methodologies, identifying simpler, more powerful ways to deliver measurable results.
Build credibility and influence Engineering leaders by demonstrating deep expertise in talent management and organizational effectiveness.
Act as a bridge between leadership, employees, and COEs to ensure alignment on people initiatives and outcomes.
Promote an experimental mindset that empowers teams to navigate transformation and ambiguity with confidence and clarity.
Requirements
8+ years of progressive HR/People experience, including direct support of VP+ leaders within complex organizations.
Strong experience partnering with Engineering organizations, with a clear understanding of technical talent, team structures, and operating models in fast-paced environments.
Proven ability to build credibility and influence Engineering leadership through data-driven insights and actionable recommendations.
Demonstrated success in fast-paced, high-growth technology environments where ambiguity is the norm and execution must be rapid.
Strong business and data acumen, with the ability to translate complex insights into clear recommendations and actions that drive organizational outcomes.
Experience leading organizational design, talent strategy, and leadership development initiatives that scale and sustain high performance.
Track record of partnering effectively with People Centers of Excellence (COEs) to deliver scalable, high-impact solutions aligned with business needs.
Curiosity and applied interest in AI and emerging technologies, particularly in relation to how they shape talent strategies, organizational structures, and future of work.
Exceptional communication skills and executive presence, with the ability to influence and challenge constructively at all levels of the organization.
Ability to operate independently in ambiguous environments, balancing strategic vision with hands-on execution and follow-through.
