In this role, you will play a crucial part in developing innovative AI-driven products, overseeing the entire development process from conception to deployment. You will work across various layers of our technology stack, ensuring that our solutions are robust, scalable, and user-friendly.

What you'll do

• Translate ambiguous stakeholder requirements into clear, actionable plans and deliverable features.
• Design and implement system architectures that prioritize scalability, maintainability, and security.
• Develop and deploy comprehensive features, taking ownership of both frontend and backend components.
• Rapidly create and iterate on AI-powered prototypes, ensuring they are production-ready.
• Optimize and expand an existing Python application, focusing on performance enhancements and improved user experience.
• Define user journey flows with an emphasis on usability, rather than just visual aesthetics.
• Integrate various APIs, including those related to AI services, to establish efficient data pathways.
• Employ secure coding practices to guarantee the reliability and maintainability of our systems.
• Balance the urgency of delivery with the necessity for high-quality, sustainable code.
• Enhance team development methodologies, including architecture design, development cycles, and testing protocols.
• Collaborate effectively with team members while demonstrating a high level of self-direction and initiative.

Requirements

• At least 5 years of professional experience in Python development.
• A minimum of 5 years in system design and architecture, including the ability to make informed technical trade-offs.
• Practical experience with AI development tools such as Codex or Claude in a professional setting.
• At least 3 years of experience in integrating APIs, particularly those focused on AI or data services.
• A minimum of 3 years of solid frontend development experience using React and modern JavaScript/HTML technologies.
• At least 3 years of experience managing features or products from initial concept through to completion.
• Strong understanding of the software development lifecycle, best practices, and maintaining code quality.
• Proven ability to navigate ambiguous project requirements and independently define effective solutions.
• A minimum of 2 years of experience in rapid prototyping and delivering projects in fast-paced environments.
• At least 5 years of experience in effectively communicating with stakeholders and translating business needs into technical specifications.
• A minimum of 2 years of experience focusing on user experience flows and usability principles.
• At least 3 years of experience working with databases and data modeling techniques.
• A minimum of 3 years of experience applying secure development practices.
• At least 2 years of experience with data pipelines or ETL processes.
• A strong sense of ownership and the ability to work independently in a less structured environment.

Nice to have

• Experience working in small, highly autonomous teams without dedicated QA or Business Analyst support.
• Previous involvement in the development of AI products or workflows involving large language models (LLMs) in a production context.
• Experience in enhancing the engineering maturity of development teams.
• Familiarity with rapid prototyping tools and experimentation platforms.
• A strong product-oriented mindset, capable of balancing user needs with business goals and technical constraints.

Practical notes

• Work Schedule: 12:00 PM - 9:30 PM IST (Summer) | 1:00 PM - 10:30 PM IST (Winter).
• No weekend work is required.
