About the role
You will serve as the Quality Manager for Grover Precision in Oxford, Maine, owning the end to end quality performance of the manufacturing operations. You will lead risk assessments, drive root cause analysis, and close the loop on nonconformities while establishing controls that prevent recurrence. You will work closely with the parent company and global partners, traveling domestically and internationally a few times per year to align standards, share best practices, and support customer quality requirements.

What you'll do
Lead end to end quality management for Grover Precision, owning strategy, execution, and continuous improvement of quality processes in the manufacturing environment.
Design, implement, and maintain risk assessments that identify potential quality failures, and oversee controls that reduce risk to product and process performance.
Drive root cause analysis for nonconformities, ensuring corrective actions are effective, verified, and documented to prevent recurrence.
Own the internal audit program for ISO-certified quality systems, scheduling and tracking audit activities, and closing identified gaps through follow up actions.
Interpret engineering drawings, specifications, and geometric dimensioning and tolerancing, translating requirements into clear instructions for operators and suppliers.
Plan and execute statistical process control activities, including process capability studies, control chart analysis, and quality data reviews to support data driven decisions.
Manage inspection methods and testing procedures, coordinating with production and engineering to ensure gaging, sampling plans, and measurement systems are appropriate and maintained.
Partner with the parent company and global partners to align quality standards, share best practices, and integrate requirements across the supply chain.
Communicate quality performance to leadership, customers, and cross functional teams, presenting findings, recommendations, and action plans in a clear and professional manner.
Champion continuous improvement initiatives, using quality metrics to prioritize projects, track outcomes, and scale successful practices across operations.
Requirements
Hold a Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Quality Management, or a related technical field, or demonstrate equivalent experience through proven work history.
Bring a minimum of 5 years of technical and management experience within a manufacturing environment, with a record of delivering results in a regulated setting.
Show documented experience working within ISO-certified quality systems, including audit participation, process ownership, and corrective action follow through.
Demonstrate strong understanding of geometric dimensioning and tolerancing, inspection methods, and manufacturing processes to evaluate compliance and feasibility.
Prove ability to read and interpret engineering drawings, specifications, and bills of materials accurately and apply them in production contexts.
Apply statistical tools such as SPC, process capability studies, and quality analysis to interpret variation and support continuous improvement.
Operate confidently with Microsoft Office and enterprise resource planning systems to manage documentation, data, and workflows.
Exhibit excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills to engage with technical and non technical stakeholders at all levels.
French language proficiency is preferred but not required; candidates with an interest in learning French are encouraged to apply.
