About the role
You own the full end-to-end sales cycle for Portuguese-speaking hoteliers, from initial discovery to contract signing and expansion. You are the trusted advisor who translates the complexity of SiteMinder's platform into clear business value for each unique property. You build and maintain long-term relationships by deeply understanding hotelier pain points and aligning solutions to their revenue and operational goals. You represent the brand with integrity and enthusiasm, ensuring every interaction reinforces our commitment to customer-centricity and simplicity. What you'll do
- Discover and qualify new hotel business opportunities within the Portuguese-speaking market.
- Build and maintain strategic relationships with hotel owners, managers, and decision-makers across segments.
- Present SiteMinder's commerce platform as a solution to critical distribution and revenue challenges.
- Negotiate and finalize contracts, ensuring terms reflect both client needs and SiteMinder's profitability.
- Maintain detailed and accurate records in the CRM for every stage of the sales pipeline.
- Generate and qualify upgrade opportunities within existing customer accounts to drive expansion revenue.
- Prepare precise quotes, proposals, and ROI-focused presentations tailored to client requirements.
- Collaborate with internal teams to incorporate client feedback into product evolution and messaging.
- Attend industry events and partner meetings to promote brand visibility and thought leadership.
- Travel occasionally to client locations in Barcelona and surrounding regions to strengthen partnerships.
- Support the creation of sales materials and battle cards based on real-world customer interactions.
- Mentor junior sales team members by sharing techniques and best practices learned in the field.
- Monitor competitive landscape and adjust sales tactics to maintain a strong market position.
- Ensure all sales activities comply with company policies, legal standards, and data protection rules.
- Report on key performance indicators and pipeline health to support forecasting and strategy refinement.
Requirements
- You hold a Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
- You have a minimum of three years of proven experience in Software-as-a-Service (SaaS) sales.
- You are fluent in Portuguese at a minimum C2 level.
- You possess professional proficiency in English, both written and verbal.
- You have a confident phone presence and are fearless in leading meetings with prospects.
- You demonstrate great listening skills and adapt your messaging to customer needs.
- You communicate professionally with customers in both written and verbal formats.
- You are self-motivated and resilient, showing up each day and giving your best effort.
- You have a growth mindset, showing openness to feedback and coaching.
- You are comfortable using CRM tools to manage complex sales pipelines.
