Position Overview
In this capacity, you will manage the complete diagnostic workflow from initial patient contact to final image review. Your primary responsibility is to ensure the technical excellence of each study while prioritizing patient comfort and clear communication. You will perform intricate carotid duplex examinations and comprehensive vascular assessments, demonstrating precise technical skill and clinical judgment. This role requires a proactive approach to optimizing scan protocols and collaborating with a multidisciplinary team. Your day begins with meticulous preparation and verification. You will calibrate vascular equipment and confirm patient identity before commencing carotid duplex scanning. This foundational step ensures the accuracy and reliability of all subsequent images. Throughout the examination, you will capture high-quality 2D and 3D echocardiographic frames, focusing on strain imaging parameters. Concurrently, you will document arterial and venous studies, including those utilizing contrast enhancement. This documentation is vital for supporting advanced outpatient decisions. You will methodically optimize scan sequences to improve efficiency during busy sessions. This efficiency is crucial for ensuring that referring physicians receive timely reports.
