Enterprise Sales Engineer
Job description
About the role
You will serve as the primary technical advisor for enterprise customers during the entire sales cycle, owning the end-to-end technical pre-sales process from initial discovery to final contract validation. You will translate complex customer requirements into clear product narratives, architecting demonstrations and proofs of concept that showcase Sierra's platform capabilities in realistic scenarios. You will act as the trusted domain expert for both sales teams and technical stakeholders, leading architecture reviews and addressing objections with precision and confidence. You will collaborate directly with product and engineering teams to close feedback loops, ensuring customer-driven insights shape product evolution. You will leverage AI tools as a core component of your sales motion, using them for discovery preparation, solution design, and demo building while maintaining full ownership of accuracy and outcomes. You will communicate value in a way that resonates with both technical leaders and executive sponsors, aligning Sierra's solutions with strategic business objectives.
