About the role
You will build with an AI mentality while maintaining rigorous financial controls across global operations. You own the timely processing of all vendor bills across all global entities using Ramp with a focus on accuracy and speed. You develop and refine processes for onboarding vendors, including bank verification, to ensure smooth transaction flows. You respond to vendor inquiries in a timely and professional manner, resolving issues efficiently. You align closely with procurement and FP&A teams to ensure cohesive financial operations and data integrity. You account for and perform reconciliation for all corporate card charges, investigating discrepancies promptly. You liaise with employees to collect missing receipts and memos, facilitating smooth audit trails. You identify areas for process efficiencies and propose improvements that reduce manual effort and enhance controls. You prepare 1099s at year end with meticulous attention to tax compliance and reporting requirements.

- Review expense reports and ensure proper adherence to company policies and spending guidelines.
- Account for and perform reconciliation for all corporate card charges to maintain accurate records.
- Liaise with employees for missing receipts and memos to support complete and auditable transactions.
- Identify areas for efficiencies using data insights and automation opportunities.
- Assist with T&E-related inquiries using Navan to resolve employee concerns quickly.
- Prepare 1099s at year end ensuring all tax documentation is accurate and submitted on time.
- Support ad hoc financial projects that enhance the accuracy and efficiency of the accounts payable function.
- Maintain strong relationships with vendors and internal stakeholders through proactive engagement.
- Monitor payment statuses and aging reports to ensure timely disbursements and cash flow management.
- Contribute to process documentation and continuous improvement initiatives for finance operations.
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience in Accounting or Accounts Payable with a strong track record of performance.
- Proven experience in a global multi-entity multi-currency environment handling complex transactions.
- Relentless attention to detail with a commitment to accuracy in every task you complete.
- Solid understanding of basic accounting principles including debits, credits, and reconciliations.
- A structured, self-directed approach where you design a process when none exists and run it effectively.
- You are a detail-oriented builder and problem solver who can improve processes over time without direct management.
- You have a bias for simplifying and automating processes to drive efficiency and reduce manual work.
- You possess a passion for building an AI-native finance function that leverages technology for better outcomes.
- You are comfortable working independently while maintaining alignment with cross-functional teams.
- You can manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment while maintaining high standards.
- You have strong communication skills to interact with vendors, employees, and internal stakeholders.
- You are proficient in using financial systems and tools to execute accounts payable functions.
