About the role
You will own the full lifecycle of university and early-career recruitment for Sierra, acting as the primary strategic partner for hiring managers and campus teams. You will design and execute end-to-end processes that source, assess, and select candidates while maintaining an exceptional candidate experience from first contact through onboarding. This role requires you to build and leverage a diverse network of stakeholders to ensure a steady pipeline of high-potential talent. You will utilize data and qualitative insights to continuously refine your strategies and meet aggressive hiring goals. Ultimately, you will be responsible for building the team that builds Sierra's platform, ensuring that every hire reflects the company's core values.

What you'll do
Identify and engage passive and active candidates through targeted sourcing, leveraging online platforms, alumni networks, and industry-specific channels to maintain a robust pipeline.
Establish and nurture relationships with key stakeholders across business units to understand hiring needs and align recruitment strategies with evolving business objectives.
Design and implement campus engagement strategies, including hosting events, managing university partnerships, and representing Sierra at career fairs to build a compelling employer brand.
Develop and manage internship and early-career programs, creating structured experiences that develop talent and convert students into full-time employees.
Utilize advanced analytics and recruiting metrics to evaluate program effectiveness, identify bottlenecks, and optimize processes to improve time-to-fill and quality of hire.
Proactively manage diversity hiring initiatives, ensuring that sourcing strategies and outreach efforts build a team reflective of Sierra's values and culture.
Collaborate closely with hiring managers to define requirements, screen profiles, and conduct interviews, ensuring a seamless and positive candidate experience.
Lead the onboarding and integration process for new hires, coordinating with cross-functional teams to ensure a smooth transition into Sierra.
Maintain comprehensive records of all recruitment activities and outcomes, reporting progress and insights to leadership to support strategic decision-making.
Adapt to the dynamic needs of a high-growth organization, navigating ambiguity to adjust plans and priorities without compromising on quality or standards.
Build and maintain a network of campus ambassadors and faculty partners to elevate Sierra's presence in academic communities.
Requirements
5+ years of full-cycle or university recruiting experience, preferably in a fast-paced, high-growth tech environment.
Proven ability to develop and execute recruiting strategies that align with business objectives and support scalable growth.
Proficiency in using recruiting metrics and data to inform decisions, measure success, and drive continuous process improvement.
Strong collaboration skills with a willingness to work cross-functionally to achieve Sierra's goals and support team initiatives.
Established relationships with career centers, student organizations, faculty, and campus ambassadors at target universities.
Experience in planning and executing campus engagement strategies, including targeted events, information sessions, and university partnerships.
Ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail and organizational rigor.
Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build rapport and influence stakeholders at all levels.
