In this pivotal role, you will be responsible for overseeing the sales cycle and driving revenue growth for the ServiceNow platform within various government entities, statutory boards, and public sector organizations. Your primary focus will be on promoting AI-enhanced workflows and digital transformation strategies that enable public sector leaders to achieve their operational and citizen-service objectives. This position requires a strategic mindset and a deep understanding of the unique challenges faced by public sector organizations.
Key facts
What you'll do
- Develop and nurture new business opportunities while expanding existing relationships within designated public sector territories.
- Formulate and execute comprehensive account strategies that align ServiceNow solutions with government digital transformation initiatives.
- Interact with high-ranking officials in government agencies, including Chief Information Officers (CIOs), Chief Technology Officers (CTOs), and Chief Digital Officers.
- Oversee complex sales processes that involve collaboration with procurement teams, technical evaluators, and executive sponsors to ensure successful outcomes.
- Work closely with internal teams such as Solution Consultants, Customer Success, and strategic partners to achieve account objectives and enhance customer satisfaction.
- Navigate the intricacies of government budgeting cycles, procurement frameworks, and compliance requirements to facilitate smooth sales transactions.
- Maintain precise sales forecasts and monitor pipeline health to ensure alignment with revenue targets and business goals.
- Analyze market trends and customer feedback to refine sales strategies and improve service offerings.
- Conduct presentations and demonstrations that effectively communicate the value of ServiceNow solutions to potential clients.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders to foster trust and drive long-term partnerships.
- Stay updated on industry developments, competitive landscape, and emerging technologies to position ServiceNow as a leader in the public sector space.
- Collaborate with marketing teams to develop targeted campaigns that resonate with public sector audiences and drive engagement.
Requirements
- A minimum of 7 years of experience in enterprise software, cloud computing, or SaaS sales, with a proven track record of meeting or exceeding revenue targets.
- Demonstrated expertise in selling comprehensive transformation solutions, including workflow modernization and AI-driven automation.
- Proven ability to cultivate advisory relationships with senior executives and manage complex sales involving multiple stakeholders.
- In-depth understanding of how artificial intelligence can enhance operational efficiency and inform decision-making processes.
- Capability to align technology investments with the strategic priorities of organizations and the needs of citizens.
- Exceptional communication and presentation skills, with the ability to convey complex concepts in a clear and compelling manner.
Nice to have
- Experience in selling to the Singapore Government, ASEAN public sector entities, or statutory boards would be advantageous.
- Familiarity with public sector tender processes and compliance regulations is a plus.
- Background in collaborating with systems integrators and consulting partners to deliver comprehensive solutions.
- Prior experience with ServiceNow products, cybersecurity solutions, or enterprise workflow platforms will be beneficial.
