You own the architecture narrative for strategic UK accounts, translating platform capabilities into executive level vision that shapes buying decisions. You will define the structure of conversations at the highest level, ensuring that technical complexity is consistently framed as clear business advantage. In this role, you are the trusted advisor who de-risks client uncertainty by articulating a credible path to their desired future state. You will leverage deep architectural insight to differentiate ServiceNow against fragmented alternatives in the market. Your work will directly influence the strategic direction of enterprise initiatives across manufacturing, retail, and service verticals in the UK and Ireland. You are responsible for crafting the story that wins deals at the board level and sustains value through renewal. Ultimately, you ensure that every stakeholder sees their specific challenge addressed within a unified, forward-looking platform vision.

Architect high value customer scenarios while orchestrating cross functional teams through intake, build, review, ship, and partners phases.
Design integrated platform solutions during discovery, aligning ServiceNow modules with enterprise objectives for manufacturing, retail, and service verticals.
Guide executive stakeholders through written and verbal narratives, ensuring architecture stories resonate from board level to domain specialists.
Champion ServiceNow single cloud principles, clarifying one interface, one code base, and one data model as decisive advantages.
Lead enterprise design initiatives, demonstrating impact across customer experience, AI governance, autonomous operations, and digital transformation journeys.
Translate intricate platform details into clear messages for diverse audiences, integrating ERP, commerce, and operations landscapes into coherent strategies.
Drive workshop delivery and best practice sessions, using structured methods and patterns to advance client maturity.
Cultivate trust based relationships, influencing directors and VPs while maintaining continuity across evolving customer journeys.
Forge thought leadership in collaboration with internal business units, shaping reusable materials and industry specific guidance.
Champion best practices, owning the creation of white papers, workshops, and reusable solution artifacts.
Requirements
Bring deep experience spanning eight plus years in manufacturing, consumer goods, retail, or service industries within presales architecture roles.
Demonstrate familiarity with injecting AI into workflows, evaluating tools, and assessing impact on decision processes and industry specific problems.
Show familiarity with ServiceNow platform and related software products, plus their functional capabilities for enterprise contexts.
Understand enterprise systems such as ERP, MES, WMS, POS, and digital commerce platforms within complex environments.
Possess knowledge of major vendors including SAP, Oracle, NetSuite, and Shopify across manufacturing and retail landscapes.
Know manufacturing and retail frameworks like APICS, SCOR, BIAN, and sector specific standards relevant to implementation.
Grasp trends such as supply chain digitalization, inventory optimization, omnichannel retail, lean manufacturing, Industry 4.0, predictive analytics, and demand driven planning.
Exhibit energy for building business relationships, simplifying complex ideas into compelling proposals that win trust.
Drive results using unconventional thinking paired with strong problem solving skills across ambiguous scenarios.
Prioritize work decisively, making bold bets when appropriate while investing time and energy in high impact opportunities.
Roll up sleeves alongside clients and partners, accelerating delivery through hands on collaboration.

Familiarity with frameworks such as TOGAF, Zachman, IT4IT, BIAN, TMForum, and related standards.
Understanding of financial and business models in manufacturing and retail, plus supply chain economics and retail operations.
Awareness of regulations covering data privacy, environmental compliance, and import/export within relevant sectors.
Exposure to ISV and software vendors serving industry specific customers.
Comprehension of cloud architecture principles including SaaS, PaaS, multi-tenancy, and automation.
