About the role
What you get to do in this role:   Based in our HQ in Santa Clara, the Senior Financial Analyst will be a key member of the GTM Finance HQ team within the FP&A organization. This role sits at the center of Sales Finance, responsible for synthesizing financial and operational intelligence across one of the largest cost bases in the company, spanning a global sales organization that reaches every geography. You will have visibility from top-line performance to profitability, working at the intersection of financial planning, operational analysis, and executive communication.  As a key member of the GTM Finance HQ team, you will:  Contribute to the financial planning process, including annual operating plan development, budgeting, and quarterly forecasting across Sales headcount and Opex  Connect the dots across a complex organization and a multi-source P&L - acting as the financial hub between regional teams, Accounting, and Procurement, and translating that complexity into a clean picture senior leadership can act on  Develop executive-ready financial analysis and commentary, communicating key insights and risks to senior GTM Finance leadership and Sales Leadership - this team's outputs reach the highest levels of the organization  Build and maintain performance metrics and reporting frameworks that enable the Sales organization to manage its business with greater clarity and precision  Identify and drive process improvement initiatives, including automation and tool-enabled workflows, to improve forecast accuracy and reduce planning cycle time  To effectively drive change and solve complex business problems, we have high standards of execution. Beyond thriving in a fast-paced, high-ambiguity environment, we require someone who can:  Convert ambiguous, senior stakeholder requests into polished, high-quality deliverables with minimal direction  Synthesize large, multi-source datasets into clear business narratives, developing metrics and KPIs that inform decision-making at the GTM leadership level  Navigate cross-functional relationships, across Finance, Accounting, Procurement, and Sales Operations, to drive alignment without formal authority  Bring creative problem-solving to big-picture challenges, finding non-obvious angles on complex financial questions, while maintaining the precision and rigor the numbers require  To be successful in this role you have: Experience in leveraging or critically thinking about how to integrate AI into work processes, decision-making, or problem-solving. This may include using AI-powered tools, automating workflows, analyzing AI-driven insights, or exploring AI's potential impact on the function or industry A passion for highly analytical work, with rigorous attention to detail and genuine intellectual curiosity  Strong communication skills, able to distill complex financial analysis into crisp, executive-level messaging, both written and verbal  Prior experience in SaaS FP&A, equity research, investment banking, management consulting, or a comparable background that builds fluency in both financial and operational metrics  High proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint  Preferred: hands-on experience with Pigment, Anaplan, or comparable planning tools; familiarity with Power BI, Tableau, or similar visualization platforms  Preferred: experience working across time zones and geographies, or meaningful international exposure  A genuine interest in automation and AI-enabled ways of working, the team is actively investing in process transformation and values candidates who bring curiosity about what's possible  For positions in this location, we offer a base pay of $116,400 - $192,100 , plus equity (when applicable), variable/incentive compensation and benefits.
