About the role
Seesaw is seeking a Senior Product Manager to focus on our Family Engagement products. You will shape the future of our global platform, ensuring exceptional experiences for educators, students, and families. This role involves driving product strategy and execution across core markets. You will own the end to end lifecycle of products that connect school and home, defining the roadmap that dictates how families interact with student learning. Your work will establish the foundational vision that guides every interaction a parent or guardian has with our platform. You will act as the definitive voice for the user, balancing the needs of young learners with the expectations of the adults supporting them. Success in this position means you can translate complex educational requirements into clear, actionable product goals for a global audience. You will be responsible for ensuring that our Family Engagement solutions are intuitive, impactful, and scalable across diverse international communities.
Key facts
What you'll do
- Define and execute the product vision and strategy for global Family Engagement products, collaborating with Engineering, Design, Marketing, Sales, and Customer Success.
- Analyze user behavior and platform performance using tools like Amplitude and Snowflake to inform product improvements and growth opportunities.
- Manage product releases with engineers, using tools such as Jira and Github for timely delivery.
- Develop and maintain a strategic product roadmap, balancing execution speed with company objectives.
- Gather and synthesize feedback from educators, administrators, and families to guide product decisions.
- Conduct competitive analysis in the US, Middle East, and Latin America to identify areas for innovation in Family Engagement.
- Define metrics and key performance indicators to measure the success of new features and iterate based on results.
- Partner with Design to translate user research into intuitive interfaces that solve real problems for families and schools.
- Prioritize the product backlog based on user needs, business goals, and technical dependencies to maximize impact.
- Represent the product in cross functional discussions to ensure alignment on goals, timelines, and quality standards.
- Investigate emerging technologies and trends in education to identify opportunities for differentiation in the marketplace.
- Communicate progress, risks, and changes to stakeholders clearly and consistently throughout the product development cycle.
- Validate product assumptions through qualitative and quantitative methods to reduce uncertainty and improve outcomes.
- Own the documentation for product requirements and specifications to ensure clarity for all team members.
Requirements
- 8+ years of product management experience, including ownership of a customer-facing SaaS product from concept to launch.
- 3-5+ years leading consumer-facing mobile or web products with proven improvements in user activation, engagement, and retention.
- 2+ years of experience in edtech or within K12 educational institutions.
- Demonstrated success in developing and executing product strategy for consumer-facing products across multiple international markets, adapting roadmaps for regional needs.
- Experience defining product hypotheses, conducting A/B tests, and making roadmap decisions based on quantitative and qualitative data.
- Strong organizational and project management skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across multiple teams.
- Proven ability to influence executive stakeholders and align Engineering, Design, and Go-to-Market teams.
- A bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience is required.
Nice to have
- Proficiency with project management tools like Jira and Github, and design tools like Figma.
- Experience using product analytics tools such as Salesforce, Snowflake, Amplitude, and Datadog to define KPIs and influence strategic decisions.
- Experience incorporating AI capabilities into customer-facing products.
- Spanish, Portuguese, or Arabic language skills.
Practical notes
- Salary range: $164,000 - $195,000 annually.
