About the role
Seesaw is seeking a PD & Training Specialist to join the team as a contractor, focused on advancing educator professional development and training across the platform. The role centers on helping teachers, school administrators, and educational staff build confidence and capability in using Seesaw for classroom instruction and student engagement. This specialist will take the lead in designing, delivering, and refining training programs that support Seesaw users at every level of experience. The position is situated in Jalisco, Mexico and operates as a contracted engagement rather than a permanent full-time employee arrangement.

What you'll do
- Design and deliver professional development sessions for educators using the Seesaw platform in both live and recorded formats.
- Create comprehensive training materials, step-by-step guides, and reference documentation to support teacher onboarding and continuous professional learning.
- Collaborate closely with the education team at Seesaw to identify training needs across different school districts and grade levels.
- Conduct live workshops and interactive webinars for teachers, administrators, and school staff on a regular scheduled basis.
- Gather detailed feedback from training participants to identify areas for improvement and refine future session content and delivery methods.
- Support the rollout of new Seesaw platform features by developing corresponding training content and user-facing learning resources.
- Work directly with regional school leaders to schedule, plan, and coordinate training events that align with academic calendars.
- Monitor and evaluate training effectiveness by tracking participation metrics and reporting outcomes to the Seesaw education team.
- Adapt training content and delivery style for different audience levels, ranging from beginners who are new to the platform to advanced power users.
- Maintain a comprehensive and up-to-date knowledge base of best practices for classroom technology integration and digital pedagogy.
- Assist in the creation of video-based training resources, walkthrough tutorials, and asynchronous learning modules for educators worldwide.
- Coordinate with product and engineering teams at Seesaw to ensure all training content accurately reflects current platform capabilities and updates.
Requirements
- Demonstrated experience in professional development or training delivery for educators, school staff, or similar professional audiences in a formal setting.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to present complex ideas clearly to diverse groups of learners.
- Proven ability to design structured learning experiences and training curricula that engage adult learners and meet defined objectives.
- Solid familiarity with educational technology platforms and digital learning tools commonly used in K through twelve classrooms.
- Relevant experience working with schools, school districts, or educational organizations to understand their training and adoption needs.
- A self-directed work ethic and professional approach suitable for a contractor engagement that requires independent project management.
- Comfort and competence with both virtual training delivery and in-person workshop formats across different learning environments.
- Strong ability to manage multiple training sessions, projects, and deadlines simultaneously without sacrificing quality or attention to detail.
