About the role
Scopely is actively seeking a Systems Administrator to own and lead strategy for the company's core collaboration and productivity platforms. In this capacity, you will manage architecture, integrations, security, and AI enablement across tools that connect global teams on a daily basis. The role demands a blend of deep technical expertise and proactive cross-functional collaboration to refine how employees work through modern tooling and automation. You will act as the central point of ownership for critical business systems that support day-to-day execution and long term digital initiatives. This position is positioned at the intersection of technical operations and strategic planning, ensuring that platforms keep pace with business needs. You will continuously track vendor releases, AI updates, and security patches to drive improvements in the employee experience. Success in this role will be measured by stable platform health, thoughtful adoption of new capabilities, and efficient support for enterprise workflows.

What you'll do
- Serve as the primary technical owner and expert for collaboration platforms including Google Workspace, Slack, Atlassian (Jira/Confluence), Zoom, and Okta.
- Build and communicate platform roadmaps, governance frameworks, and long-term strategies that align technology with business objectives.
- Manage platform health, integrations, licensing, and lifecycle operations to ensure reliable and cost-effective use of tools.
- Track vendor releases, AI updates, and security patches to continuously evaluate and improve the employee experience.
- Lead deployment, adoption, and training for AI workplace tools such as Gemini, Slack AI, Zoom AI Companion, and Atlassian Rovo.
- Produce and maintain technical documentation, training guides, and best practice resources to support both technical and non-technical audiences.
- Collaborate with Security, HR, Engineering, Procurement, Legal, and business teams to deliver scalable, secure, and compliant solutions.
- Act as the escalation contact for complex platform issues, integrations, and automation opportunities across the enterprise.
- Drive workflow automation through scripting, integrations, and AI-based improvements that reduce manual effort and increase efficiency.
- Manage enterprise application projects from initiation through delivery, communicating status and risks to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Translate business requirements into technical solutions, ensuring that platforms support operational needs and strategic goals.
- Monitor platform performance, identify bottlenecks, and coordinate remediation plans to minimize disruption and maximize uptime.
- Support change management initiatives by coordinating communication, training, and feedback loops with end users across regions.
- Maintain inventory of SaaS licenses, monitor utilization, and recommend optimizations to control costs and improve value.
Requirements
- 3-5+ years in Systems Administration, Enterprise Applications Administration, or SaaS Platform Management.
- Hands-on experience administering Google Workspace, Slack, Atlassian (Jira/Confluence), Zoom, and related SaaS tools in enterprise environments.
- Background owning application strategy, roadmaps, governance, vendor relationships, licensing, and platform optimization.
- Experience deploying and managing AI workplace tools such as Gemini, Slack AI, Zoom AI Companion, or Atlassian Rovo in production settings.
- Demonstrated ability to lead AI enablement programs including training, adoption, documentation, and change management practices.
- Strong grasp of emerging technologies, vendor feature releases, and industry standards with a track record of driving continuous improvement.
- Solid organizational, communication, and stakeholder management abilities to work effectively with diverse teams across functions.
- Experience producing technical documentation such as SOPs, knowledge base articles, architecture diagrams, and training materials.
- Strong project management skills with the ability to run multiple initiatives independently in fast-paced, global environments.
- History of cross-functional partnership with Security, HR, Engineering, Legal, Procurement, and business stakeholders to deliver integrated solutions.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and exercise sound judgment when handling sensitive employee, customer, or financial information.
- Willingness to comply with company policies and procedures, including security, privacy, and ethical standards.
