About the role
We are building a new, unannounced cross-platform Strategy/MMO title and need a producer to help guide our development pods in Barcelona. You will partner with feature owners to manage the full lifecycle of game components while fostering a healthy and efficient team environment. This role requires a proactive leader who can navigate ambiguity and drive execution in a fast-paced studio. You will be responsible for ensuring that strategic objectives are translated into clear, actionable plans for multiple teams. The position demands a balance between creative vision and operational discipline to keep complex projects on track. You will act as a central hub for information and alignment across the Barcelona production ecosystem. Success in this role will be measured by the predictability and quality of delivered features.

What you'll do
- Coordinate production tasks, triage issues, and manage release planning for the new strategy title.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary engineering teams to optimize output and maintain team culture in Barcelona.
- Establish and maintain production workflows and processes across the live service project lifecycle.
- Take ownership of team performance and serve as a coach for individual contributors to foster growth.
- Facilitate requirement gathering, capacity planning, and dependency tracking with art, product, and leadership teams.
- Monitor project status rigorously to ensure timely delivery of features against strict milestones.
- Run recurring team rituals such as sprint planning and retrospectives to drive continuous improvement and learning.
- Analyze production metrics and adjust plans to mitigate risks and remove blockers efficiently.
- Partner closely with engineering leads to align technical scope with production schedules and resource availability.
- Act as the central communication node for cross-functional dependencies impacting the development pods.
- Maintain detailed documentation of production decisions and changes for future reference and audits.
- Identify opportunities for process automation and tooling improvements to enhance team efficiency.
- Support the creation of clear roadmaps and pitch decks for internal stakeholders and leadership reviews.
- Ensure all production activities adhere to the project's quality standards and compliance requirements.
- Drive the execution of live operations readiness planning and support post-launch monitoring activities.
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience in production within game development teams, demonstrating a proven track record.
- Background working on large-scale live service titles with complex operational demands.
- Proficiency in Agile methodologies and standard industry practices for software development lifecycle.
- Advanced skills in JIRA, including custom workflows, reporting, and advanced board configurations.
- Ability to manage stakeholders and report project status effectively to both technical and non-technical audiences.
- Strong organizational skills with a focus on operational efficiency and meticulous attention to detail.
- Capability to assess and prioritize multiple issues, dependencies, and risks in a fast-paced environment.
- Experience facilitating cross-team communication and organization to ensure alignment and shared understanding.
- Demonstrated ability to work independently and make sound decisions with minimal direct supervision.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English to articulate plans and updates clearly.
- Willingness to adapt to changing priorities and scope in a dynamic game development environment.
- Commitment to maintaining a positive and inclusive team environment under pressure.
- Understanding of software development processes and technical constraints is mandatory.
Nice to have
- Experience working in large-scale agile environments such as SAFe or LeSS.
- Background in managing third-party vendors and external partnerships for game development.
- Technical background or experience working closely with core engineering teams and tools.
- Certification as a Scrum Master or Agile Coach to formalize agile leadership practices.
- Personal interest in gaming to better relate to the product and the player perspective.
