About the role
Scopely is seeking a Performance Marketing Manager I to join our User Acquisition team. This remote position focuses on driving player growth and optimizing advertising efficiency across our global mobile game portfolio. The successful candidate will own the performance marketing strategy for our titles, ensuring that all campaigns align with overarching business objectives and contribute to sustainable growth. You will be responsible for analyzing market trends and translating data insights into actionable plans that enhance our acquisition efforts. This role requires a proactive approach to identifying opportunities and solving complex marketing challenges on a daily basis. You will work closely with cross-functional partners to ensure that marketing initiatives support the product roadmap and company goals. The position demands a high level of ownership and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment. Ultimately, you will play a critical role in scaling user acquisition through efficient and innovative marketing practices.

What you'll do
- Oversee substantial performance marketing budgets across diverse channels to fuel game expansion and maximize return on investment.
- Architect and refine mobile advertising initiatives on platforms including Meta, Google, TikTok, DSPs, SDK networks, CTV, and influencer marketing to improve campaign efficiency.
- Forge and develop creative acquisition solutions while managing strategic marketing partnerships to broaden our reach.
- Engineer and manage rigorous A/B and multivariate testing frameworks, synthesizing results to guide decision-making across the organization.
- Liaise with product, data, and creative departments to synchronize lifecycle marketing strategies and creative production.
- Scout and evaluate new partners to broaden and strengthen our acquisition ecosystem.
- Translate complex performance data into clear narratives and strategic insights for leadership stakeholders to inform future investments.
- Mentor team members by sharing expertise and highlighting potential inefficiencies or risks in existing methodologies.
- Establish reporting structures that provide transparency into campaign performance and highlight areas for optimization.
- Drive the implementation of data-driven adjustments to improve cost per acquisition and lifetime value.
- Collaborate with finance teams to ensure marketing expenditures are aligned with budget forecasts and business priorities.
- Maintain compliance with platform policies and industry regulations in all marketing activities.
Requirements
- Hold a BA or BS degree in Economics, Mathematics, Marketing, Communications, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Bring 5-7 years of hands-on experience in media buying, user acquisition, or performance marketing roles.
- Demonstrate strong proficiency in Excel, including advanced functions and data manipulation techniques.
- Thrive in an autonomous work environment with minimal oversight while maintaining high standards of accountability.
- Apply analytical rigor to verify assumptions and communicate effectively with data and analytics teams.
- Utilize strong communication skills to foster collaboration across diverse functions and organizational levels.
- Exhibit attention to detail to ensure accuracy in campaign setup, reporting, and analysis.
- Show adaptability in navigating ambiguous situations and shifting priorities inherent in a growing company.
Nice to have
- Possess direct experience in mobile user acquisition, with a proven track record of success.
- Have hands-on experience with Facebook Ads Manager and Google Ads platforms.
- Understand funnel conversion metrics, retention rates, and LTV predictions to inform marketing decisions.

- The salary range for candidates located in British Columbia is $80,000 to $105,000 CAD.
