About the role
Scopely is seeking a Global Mobility professional to join our People team in Barcelona. This hybrid position requires two days per week in the office to support our international workforce and HR operations. The successful candidate will act as a primary liaison for immigration and relocation processes, ensuring compliance and efficiency across our global footprint. You will own the full lifecycle of mobility cases, from initiation to resolution, while maintaining meticulous records and data integrity. This role demands a proactive approach to managing complex workflows and providing clear, timely updates to stakeholders. You will be responsible for translating company policy into practical solutions that enhance the employee experience for our international colleagues. The position requires a deep understanding of global mobility best practices and a commitment to operational excellence. You will be a key partner in driving the scalability and consistency of our mobility programs worldwide.

What you'll do
- Initiate immigration and relocation cases with global partners while monitoring service quality and data accuracy.
- Generate cost estimates, reports, and data sets for management and the Talent team.
- Perform regular audits of internal systems.

- Build and maintain relationships with internal business units, providing feedback on operational processes.

Requirements
- University degree or 3 years of experience in HR, relocation, or customer service.
- Proven background in customer service, ideally within a European or US-led multinational firm.
- Strong relationship management skills with the ability to handle client expectations.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
- High level of organization and attention to detail.
- Ability to work across multiple time zones.
- Proficiency in Google Suite and Microsoft Office.
- Ability to manage confidential information with discretion and diplomacy.

In this role, you will be responsible for the end-to-end management of employee mobility cases, ensuring that all immigration and relocation requirements are met in a timely and accurate manner. You will serve as the central point of contact for employees moving across borders, providing guidance and support throughout the entire relocation journey. This involves coordinating with legal, tax, and immigration experts to navigate complex regulatory environments in various countries. You will ensure that all documentation is completed correctly and submitted within required timelines to avoid any disruptions to the employee's assignment. Your work will directly impact the employee experience, influencing their satisfaction and success in their new location. You will analyze data to identify bottlenecks and areas for process improvement, aiming to increase efficiency and reduce administrative burden. This includes creating detailed reports on case status, costs, and timelines for leadership review. You will also be tasked with forecasting future mobility needs and resource requirements based on business growth projections.
A significant portion of your day will be spent managing relationships with external vendors such as relocation companies and immigration law firms. You will ensure that these vendors are adhering to service level agreements and company policies. This requires conducting regular audits of internal systems and vendor performance to maintain high standards of service. You will generate cost estimates for relocation packages and immigration services, providing transparent budgeting information to the Talent team and management. Tracking policy exceptions will be a core duty, as you analyze trends and develop strategies to control costs without compromising service quality. You will review and process invoices from third-party vendors, ensuring that all charges are accurate and compliant with company guidelines. Collaboration with internal stakeholders on special projects will be essential, requiring flexibility and a solutions-oriented mindset. You will draft employment verification letters, tax forms, and other necessary travel documents for employees worldwide. This role requires a high level of adaptability, as you will be working across multiple time zones to support a globally distributed workforce. Strong organizational skills are critical to managing multiple cases simultaneously and meeting strict deadlines.
The ideal candidate will possess a university degree or equivalent professional experience in HR, relocation, or customer service. A proven background in customer service within a European or US-led multinational firm is highly valued. You must have strong relationship management skills and the ability to handle complex client expectations with professionalism. Fluency in English is mandatory, both for written and verbal communication. You will need to be proficient in Google Suite and Microsoft Office to perform daily tasks effectively. The ability to manage confidential employee and financial information with discretion and diplomacy is non-negotiable. This role requires a commitment to data security and compliance with all company policies.
