About the role
You will own the end-to-end delivery of finance transformation initiatives that directly shape the future of Satispay's financial ecosystem. You will act as the critical bridge between Product, Business, and Finance to ensure new features are not only innovative but also financially robust and compliant. This role grants you full ownership of complex projects spanning tax compliance, billing infrastructure, and financial front-end management. You will define the financial requirements from the earliest ideation stages and shepherd them through to flawless execution. You will proactively identify risks and drive cross-functional alignment to keep projects moving forward. Success in this position means you will directly enable the scalability and accuracy of Satispay's monetization and accounting operations. You will report directly to the Head of Finance Transformation, with a clear line of sight on strategic financial goals.

What you'll do
Analyze product proposals to define and implement billing, tax, and accounting requirements for new features in the Satispay financial ecosystem.
Lead finance transformation projects focused on tax compliance, ensuring fiscal and VAT requirements are captured across European jurisdictions for every new product.
Supervise the billing engine architecture to optimize flows for new business lines, ensuring automated, accurate, and compliant invoicing for B2B and B2C segments.
Own and enhance financial front-end processes to guarantee perfect reconciliation of transaction data, merchant payouts, and user balances with back-office accounting systems.
Partner with Product Managers, Engineering, Legal, Tax, and Core Accounting to scope projects, mitigate risks, and guarantee timely delivery of financial solutions.
Identify and eliminate manual financial workflows triggered by new product launches, driving automation within the Finance operational stack to improve scalability.
Act as the central Finance stakeholder and point of contact for welfare products, managing processes for existing offerings and future developments.
Translate complex business needs into clear technical and financial specifications that engineering teams can execute without ambiguity.
Monitor the integrity of financial data flows, ensuring that payment, tax, and accounting systems operate in strict harmony.
Champion process ownership, continuously seeking improvements that increase efficiency and reduce operational risk in financial operations.
Requirements
Bring at least 5 years of experience as a Project Manager, Business Analyst, or Consultant focused on Finance Transformation, FinTech Operations, or financial systems implementation.
Demonstrate a solid understanding of financial product flows, billing/invoicing systems, and basic corporate tax/VAT logic applied to digital products or payments.
Thrive in dynamic, fast-paced environments by navigating ambiguity, managing multiple stakeholders, and meeting tight deadlines with precision.
Show ownership, accountability, and team contribution by independently managing complex, cross-functional projects and taking full responsibility for the finance readiness of new product launches.
Comfortably work with complex data structures, APIs, and modern digital ecosystems, leveraging strong analytical skills to solve intricate financial problems.
Utilize ERP integration knowledge, with SAP S/4HANA experience being a significant advantage, and apply SQL or data tools to analyze and validate financial datasets.
Operate with fluency in Italian and English to ensure effective communication with internal and external teams across all levels.
Maintain strict attention to detail to ensure that financial processes, regulatory requirements, and data integrity are upheld to the highest standards.
Approach problem-solving with a proactive mindset, anticipating challenges and implementing robust solutions before they impact the business.

Experience working within payment ecosystems and digital wallets is highly valued.
Practical notes
Salary: €46,500.00 - €67,000.00 gross per annum.
This range is set using objective, gender-neutral criteria for the role's core requirements. However, we do not believe in putting a ceiling on talent.
