What you'll do

• Collaborate closely with suppliers to assess and improve their quality management systems, ensuring compliance with Safetrust's standards.
• Conduct regular audits of supplier facilities to evaluate their manufacturing processes and quality control measures.
• Analyze supplier performance data to identify trends and areas for improvement, providing actionable insights to enhance product quality.
• Assist in the development and implementation of quality assurance protocols and procedures that align with industry best practices.
• Participate in cross-functional teams to support new product development initiatives, ensuring that supplier capabilities meet project requirements.
• Facilitate training sessions for suppliers on quality standards and expectations, fostering a culture of continuous improvement.
• Investigate and resolve quality issues related to supplier products, coordinating with internal teams to implement corrective actions.
• Prepare detailed reports on supplier performance, audit findings, and quality metrics for management review.
• Support the sourcing team in evaluating potential suppliers, providing input on their quality capabilities and risks.
• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of industry regulations and standards to ensure compliance in all supplier interactions.
• Collaborate with internal stakeholders to ensure alignment on quality objectives and supplier performance expectations.
• Contribute to the development of quality improvement projects, utilizing tools such as Six Sigma and root cause analysis to drive results.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Quality Management, or a related field.
• A minimum of 1-2 years of experience in quality assurance or supplier quality engineering, preferably in a manufacturing environment.
• Familiarity with quality management systems and standards such as ISO 9001 or IATF 16949.
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and make data-driven decisions.
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, to effectively interact with suppliers and internal teams.
• Proficiency in quality tools such as FMEA, SPC, and root cause analysis methodologies.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment while also being self-motivated and proactive.
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines.
• Willingness to travel to supplier locations as needed for audits and assessments.

Nice to have

• Experience with Lean Manufacturing principles and methodologies.
• Knowledge of statistical analysis software and tools for data analysis.
• Certification in quality management or engineering (e.g., CQE, CQA) is a plus.
• Previous experience in the technology or electronics industry is advantageous.
• Familiarity with supplier relationship management tools and software.
