What you'll do

• Lead the QA automation team in designing, developing, and executing automated test scripts to ensure comprehensive test coverage across various applications.
• Collaborate closely with product managers, developers, and other stakeholders to understand requirements and translate them into effective testing strategies.
• Establish and maintain a test automation framework that supports continuous integration and continuous deployment (CI/CD) practices.
• Identify, analyze, and document defects, ensuring timely resolution and tracking of issues throughout the software development lifecycle.
• Mentor and guide junior QA engineers, fostering a culture of continuous learning and improvement within the team.
• Develop and maintain test plans, test cases, and test data to ensure thorough testing of software applications.
• Evaluate and implement new testing tools and technologies to enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of the QA process.
• Conduct regular reviews of test results and metrics to assess the quality of the software and provide actionable insights to the development team.
• Participate in sprint planning and retrospectives, contributing to the agile development process and ensuring quality is prioritized.

Requirements

• A minimum of 5 years of experience in software quality assurance, with a strong focus on automation testing.
• Proven experience leading QA teams and managing testing processes in an agile environment.
• Proficiency in programming languages such as Java, Python, or C#, with hands-on experience in developing automated test scripts.
• Strong understanding of test automation frameworks, tools, and methodologies, including Selenium, JUnit, TestNG, or similar.
• Experience with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, GitLab CI, or CircleCI, and familiarity with version control systems like Git.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with a keen attention to detail.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a collaborative team environment.
• Experience in performance testing and security testing is a plus.
• A degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field is preferred.

Nice to have

• Familiarity with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.
• Knowledge of containerization technologies like Docker or Kubernetes.
• Experience with API testing tools such as Postman or SoapUI.
• Understanding of Agile methodologies and experience working in Scrum teams.
