What you'll do

• Spearhead the expansion and advancement of the engineering team, fostering an environment of growth and innovation.
• Architect and deploy scalable, robust distributed systems tailored for data processing, reporting, and analytics.
• Collaborate closely with engineering, data science, and product management teams to steer project direction and establish architectural frameworks.
• Interact with internal stakeholders to elucidate requirements and shape project execution.

• Cultivate a deep understanding of advertising business needs to enhance domain knowledge, improving system and data insights.

Requirements

• A minimum of 15 years of experience in engineering, with a strong focus on contemporary big data technologies such as Spark, Airflow, Scala, Java, Python, and relational databases.
• At least 6 years of experience in leading technical teams and overseeing large-scale data processing systems.
• Demonstrated experience in building, developing, and managing high-performing teams.
• In-depth knowledge of advertising technologies and data processing methodologies.
• Strong understanding of data engineering principles, big data technologies, analytics, and data science practices.
• Exceptional communication skills, both verbal and written.
• Self-motivated with a strong sense of accountability and ownership over projects.
• Analytical mindset with the ability to make practical decisions based on data.
• Results-driven approach with a collaborative spirit, promoting teamwork and shared success.

Nice to have

• Familiarity with AI tools and automation techniques in engineering processes.
• Experience in cloud-based data solutions and services.
• Knowledge of machine learning concepts and their application in data processing.

Skills & tools

• Proficient in big data frameworks and programming languages essential for data processing and analytics.
