What you'll do

• Lead a dynamic team of software engineers, providing mentorship and guidance to help them grow in their careers and enhance their technical skills.
• Oversee the entire software development lifecycle, from initial planning and requirements gathering to design, implementation, testing, and deployment.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including product management, design, and quality assurance, to ensure alignment on project goals and deliverables.
• Drive the adoption of best practices in software development, including agile methodologies, code reviews, and continuous integration/continuous deployment (CI/CD) processes.

Requirements

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
• A minimum of 8 years of experience in software development, with at least 3 years in a leadership role managing engineering teams.
• Proven track record of successfully delivering complex software projects on time and within budget.
• Strong understanding of software development methodologies, including agile and waterfall.
• Proficiency in programming languages such as Java, C++, or Python, and experience with web technologies like HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
• Familiarity with cloud computing platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure) and microservices architecture.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to think critically under pressure.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with diverse teams.
• Experience with performance management and team development strategies.
