Roblox is seeking a Senior Product Policy Manager with deep expertise in European regulatory compliance and localized policy frameworks to join their expanding global team. What you'll do

• Partner closely with Legal and Public Policy departments to clearly communicate Roblox's safety vision, platform policies, and community standards to European regulatory authorities and government stakeholders
• Lead the adaptation and localization of Roblox's global content policies to address the specific cultural, legal, and regulatory requirements of European markets
• Collaborate with the Moderation Operations team to ensure that localized policies are implemented effectively and enforced consistently across the region
• Conduct comprehensive analysis of the evolving regulatory landscape, including monitoring industry trends, legislative developments, and competitor activities to proactively identify and mitigate potential risks to Roblox and its user community
• Work directly alongside product managers and engineering teams to guide the development, refinement, and deployment of enforcement systems and safety tools that ensure compliance with both internal policies and applicable local laws
• Coordinate closely with the Product Policy Manager responsible for Global Age Ratings to guarantee that game rating systems remain compliant across all European jurisdictions
• Engage with European video game rating authorities including Pan European Game Information (PEGI), Unterhaltungssoftware Selbstkontrolle (USK), and the International Age Rating Coalition (IARC) to maintain appropriate content classifications
• Prepare and deliver presentations to senior company leadership and executive stakeholders on regional policy matters, compliance status, and strategic recommendations
• Contribute to cross-functional initiatives spanning product, engineering, business development, marketing, communications, and operations to advance safety and civility objectives
• Develop and maintain relationships with external regulatory bodies, industry associations, and policy experts across Europe to stay informed on emerging compliance requirements
• Support the creation of documentation, policy guidelines, and training materials to ensure internal teams understand regional compliance obligations
• Participate in global policy discussions and contribute European perspectives to help shape company-wide standards and best practices

Requirements

• Minimum of six years of professional experience in online Trust and Safety, Product Policy, or closely related fields within technology or digital platform companies
• Demonstrated background in developing content policies for global platforms with specific expertise in regional policy adaptation and localization
• Exceptional written and verbal communication abilities with proven capacity to distill complex regulatory and policy issues into clear, actionable components and propose viable solutions
• Strong technical and product understanding that enables creative problem-solving and effective collaboration with engineering and product teams
• Track record of working directly with senior company leaders and presenting complex policy matters to executive audiences
• Fluent English language skills are mandatory for this position
• Educational background including a JD, Master's degree, or equivalent professional experience in a relevant field
• Ability to navigate ambiguity and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced, evolving regulatory environment
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to assess risks and develop strategic policy recommendations

Nice to have

• Fluency in German and/or Dutch languages is strongly preferred
• Previous experience working with European video game rating authorities such as PEGI, USK, and/or IARC
• Background in engaging with international policy matters and articulating complex regulatory issues to global regulatory bodies
• Experience in the gaming industry or with user-generated content platforms
• Familiarity with European digital services regulations and online safety frameworks
• Prior work experience in a multinational technology company with distributed teams

Practical notes

• This position follows a hybrid work arrangement with required office presence on Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday at the Amsterdam location, while Monday and Friday attendance remains optional
• The role is part of a globally distributed team covering the Americas, Europe, Middle East, Africa, Latin America, Oceania, India, and Asia-Pacific regions
