What you'll do
- Define and execute the technical roadmap for analytics and experimentation systems that serve creators globally.
- Design robust data structures and scalable pipelines to ensure both emerging and professional creators can easily interpret performance metrics.
- Partner closely with data platform and product teams to align analytics capabilities with evolving strategic priorities and user needs.
- Lead and mentor a team of engineers, guiding them in maintaining high standards of quality, reliability, and delivery velocity.
- Translate long-term technical strategy into actionable and durable roadmaps through collaboration with senior leadership and cross-functional stakeholders.
- Champion the development of reliable dashboards and experiments that build trust and deliver clarity for creators and internal stakeholders.
- Define scope and priorities for analytics features to enable teams to ship impactful improvements efficiently and iteratively.
- Drive data-driven decision-making across the organization by enabling teams to leverage analytics for insight generation and validation.
- Foster an environment of continuous learning and innovation within the engineering team, encouraging experimentation and technical growth.
- Ensure that analytics systems are scalable, performant, and secure, supporting the needs of a platform with a global reach.
- Collaborate with cross-functional partners to identify opportunities for process improvements and technical optimizations.
- Act as a thought leader in analytics and experimentation, representing the team in discussions with product, design, and infrastructure partners.
- Evaluate emerging technologies and methodologies to enhance the analytics stack and improve the creator experience.
- Support the organization in achieving its goals through measurable outcomes delivered via analytics initiatives.
Requirements
- Bring 8+ years of engineering experience, including work on large-scale, long-lived technical systems that serve high-volume users.
- Demonstrate proven team leadership experience, including effectively managing, mentoring, and developing engineers of varying levels.
- Have hands-on experience building or scaling analytics platforms, experimentation systems, or large-scale data products in production environments.
- Possess strong technical judgment and the ability to communicate clearly with both technical and non-technical stakeholders across the organization.
- Show a track record of delivering successful technical solutions that resulted in measurable business or creator impact.
- Have experience working in domains such as gaming, ad technology, experimentation platforms, or consumer analytics at scale, which is required for context and relevance.
- Exhibit the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment while balancing multiple priorities and stakeholders.
- Demonstrate ownership and accountability for outcomes, driving projects from conception through execution and iteration.
- Have experience working with distributed teams and collaborating across time zones, given the global nature of the platform.
- Show commitment to quality through practices such as code reviews, testing, and documentation to maintain high standards.

Practical notes
The base compensation for this role is $183,800.00 annually. Work is conducted using standard engineering tools and practices as outlined in the role description. The position requires adherence to the hybrid work schedule, which includes onsite work on Tuesday through Thursday in San Mateo, California.
