What you'll do

• Lead a team of engineers in the design, development, and implementation of robust software solutions that enhance the Roblox platform.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field; advanced degrees are a plus.
• A minimum of 5 years of experience in software engineering, with at least 2 years in a leadership or managerial role.
• Proven track record of successfully leading engineering teams and delivering complex software projects on time and within budget.
• Strong understanding of software development methodologies, including Agile and DevOps practices.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to make data-driven decisions to guide engineering efforts.
• Experience with programming languages such as C++, C#, or Java, as well as familiarity with web technologies and frameworks.
• Solid knowledge of security best practices in software development and a commitment to ensuring the safety of user data.
• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across teams and levels of the organization.
• A passion for gaming and a deep understanding of the Roblox platform is highly desirable.

Nice to have

• Experience in the gaming industry or with online platforms similar to Roblox.
• Familiarity with cloud services and infrastructure, such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.
