Software Engineer, Account Authentication
Job description
About the role
Every day, tens of millions of people come to Roblox to explore, create, play, learn, and connect with friends in 3D immersive digital experiences- all created by our global community of developers and creators. At Roblox, we're building the tools and platform that empower our community to bring any experience that they can imagine to life. Our vision is to reimagine the way people come together, from anywhere in the world, and on any device. You will own the design, implementation, and landing of features that make Roblox more secure and more accessible for users of all ages on all platforms. You will collaborate cross-organizationally with partner teams in Growth, Discovery and the broader Roblox Safety org to help define how goals get accomplished and have real influence over product direction. This role will influence how users first experience Roblox, often forming their baseline expectations for what security should look like on the internet as you instrument and analyze user interaction data to inform design decisions and maximize product impact. You will own implementation end to end across the stack, contributing in Rust, C++, and Lua as projects require, using AI tools wherever possible to drive secure and scalable outcomes.
