About the role
Robinhood is hiring a Senior Compensation Analyst to own analytics and systems for broad-based pay and variable compensation programs. You will build the models that guide pay decisions, manage tooling and workflows for People and Recruiting teams, and apply automation and AI to improve operations. This position offers direct ownership across analysis, systems, and program execution from day one.

What you'll do
- Develop scalable compensation models for market benchmarking, budget planning, scenario analysis, and data reconciliation to support strategy and business decisions
- Lead survey participation, job matching, market pricing, and trend analysis to assess pay competitiveness and shape salary structures and equity bands across global markets
- Create and maintain compensation trackers, dashboards, and budgets that deliver accurate and timely reporting for stakeholders
- Administer annual merit, promotion, and variable/incentive compensation cycles end to end, including planning, modeling, award generation, payroll and equity reconciliation, and post-cycle review
- Maintain and improve compensation tooling, job catalogs, and databases used by People and Recruiting teams while designing automations that reduce manual effort and errors
- Provide compensation analysis for mergers and acquisitions, including due diligence, pay structure harmonization, and employee integration
- Apply AI and modern tools to streamline benchmarking, analysis, communications, and reporting
- Collaborate with People Partners, HRIS, Finance, and Legal on ongoing initiatives and ad-hoc analyses
Requirements
- 4 to 6 years of compensation experience
- Advanced Excel or Google Sheets modeling with large datasets
- Hands-on work with HRIS, compensation data platforms, and benchmarking tools
- Comfort using AI tools with a preference for automating analytical tasks
- Experience administering broad-based and variable or incentive compensation programs
- Ability to translate complex analysis into clear, actionable recommendations
- Strong attention to detail, sound judgment handling sensitive data, and high ownership

- Base pay Zone 1 (Menlo Park, CA; New York, NY; Bellevue, WA; Washington, DC): $136,000 to $160,000 USD
- Base pay Zone 2 (Denver, CO; Westlake, TX; Chicago, IL): $120,000 to $141,000 USD
- Base pay Zone 3 (Lake Mary, FL; Clearwater, FL; Gainesville, FL): $106,000 to $125,000 USD
