Job description
About the role
You will define and drive the technical direction for Android experiences across high-impact product areas, building intuitive, elegant, and reliable mobile systems using Kotlin, Jetpack Compose, and modern Android APIs. You will lead complex, ambiguous initiatives end to end - from early product and technical strategy through architecture, implementation, experimentation, launch, and long-term evolution. You will partner closely with Product Managers, Designers, Backend Engineers, and Data Scientists to shape roadmaps, influence product decisions, and deliver solutions that create meaningful customer and business impact. You will establish and uphold engineering standards, architecture patterns, and development practices that improve quality, scalability, maintainability, and developer velocity across the team. You will act as a technical leader and multiplier by mentoring engineers, driving design reviews, unblocking critical decisions, and raising the overall bar for execution, craftsmanship, and collaboration.
