If you seek to build the systems that capture billions of real-world conversations, Rilla is the arena. THE ROLE Rilla engineers design and deploy features across the entire stack with extreme speed. Daily, you will architect end-to-end sequences, launch them into production, and resolve large-scale real-world challenges. As an initial technical guardian, you will elevate standards for code quality and decision-making. You will establish patterns that foster a world-class engineering culture during our growth phase. As the company scales 10x, your responsibility and ownership will expand at the same pace. You will build the tools, mental models, and platforms that enable both you and Rilla to grow exponentially. Compensation: $120,000 per year; 6 months What you'll do Design intake pipelines that capture messy real world conversations before they enter the system. Orchestrate build workflows using React, Node, Python, and PostgreSQL while integrating with tools like GitHub Actions. Champion review standards that enforce code quality and decision patterns as the team scales rapidly. Enable ship outcomes by deploying features through Turborepo and Spacelift under tight timelines. Forge partnerships with sales organizations like The Home Depot to validate solutions in live environments. Guide the flow of data through Zod schemas and Lodash utilities to keep logic consistent and reliable. Maintain strict velocity while navigating constant context shifts across distributed teams. Champion experiments that test new AI coaching features on offline industries untouched by software. Requirements You must prove strong coding skills in at least Javascript, Python, C++, Rust, or comparable languages. You need familiarity with storage systems, cloud infrastructure, and modern data processing tools. You bring strong written and verbal skills, iterating quickly with feedback and upholding a high quality bar.
