Staff Electrical Test Engineer, Test and Validation
Job description
About the role
You will plan and execute comprehensive electrical validation strategies for multiple micro-mobility platforms. You will translate electrical design requirements into detailed verification matrices and coverage plans that ensure performance, quality, and reliability. You will specify, design, and build automated benchtop test setups for PCBAs, modules, and full system architectures. You will work with cross-functional design teams, silicon vendors, and external test labs to align on validation criteria and industry standards. You will design custom load boards, breakout fixtures, and measurement interfaces to enable repeatable, high-precision signal and power measurements. You will perform hands-on electrical characterization, debug design anomalies, and execute root-cause analysis on early-stage prototypes and validation failures. You will drive continuous optimization of validation test suites to improve coverage, accuracy, and execution efficiency.
