Product Manager
Job description
About the role
You are a General Manager and Product CEO for a specific surface of the Rho platform, owning the end-to-end outcomes and customer experience for that domain. You will develop an unfair understanding of how early-stage founders think about money, time, and risk, and design workflows they did not know they wanted. You will prototype with frontier AI models to test ideas the same afternoon they emerge, building product experiences that were impossible a year ago. You will decide what matters most today, next, and never, and you will pivot without ego when evidence demands it. You will operate with the speed and judgment of a founder, where your decisions move the business because you are close to the work and the customer. You will turn ambiguous problems into clear hypotheses, define success before building, and ship iterations that land directly in the hands of founders.
Key facts
What you'll do
- Operate like a founder, treating your surface as your own company's P&L and problems as your own regardless of job description.
- Build for early-stage founders by developing a deep understanding of how they think about money, time, and risk to design the desire path rather than the paved one.
- Own a living problem space, not a feature or ticket queue, framing the problems that matter and defining success before you build.
- Decide what matters most now, next, and never, and pivot without ego when facts change, even if it means abandoning prior plans.
- Work at the frontier of AI to 10x your thinking, rapidly prototype ideas, test more concepts, and build product experiences that were not possible a year ago.
- Get in the weeds with prototyping, pressure-testing, and iterating alongside design and engineering, while partnering deeply across Engineering, Design, Operations, GTM, and leadership.
- Bring people along by communicating the why so clearly that the team could make your calls without you in the room.
- Build with taste and rigor, obsessing over details because every interaction in a banking product carries trust.
- Practice discovery rigor by articulating the problem, hypothesis, and how you will know it worked before writing a spec.
- Build directly, whether by opening a prototype, sketching a flow, or pulling the data yourself to unblock progress.
- Think like a founder who has been one, worked next to one, or operates like one, taking ownership past the edges of your role.
- Thrive in ambiguity by making calls on incomplete information and treating pivots as new information rather than setbacks.
- Ship scrappy versions, learn quickly, ship again, and unblock yourself instead of waiting for someone else to assign work.
- Ensure the surfaces you touch move faster because you are on them, aligning speed with ownership and decision-making.
Requirements
- You have 3+ years building products as a founder, PM, engineer, or in an equivalent fast-paced, high-growth environment, and you have shipped work you are proud to put your name on.
- You have frontier fluency with AI, working with it daily to prototype, analyze, draft, and automate, and you can point to something you shipped or changed because a new capability made it possible.
- You have taste, holding your own view of what good looks like, obsessing over details, and knowing that in a banking product every interaction carries trust.
- You have discovery rigor, able to articulate the problem, the hypothesis, and how you will know it worked before you write a spec.
- You build, refusing to be above opening a prototype, sketching a flow, or pulling the data yourself.
- You think like a founder, having been one, worked next to one, or operated like one, taking ownership past the edges of your role.
- You are at home in ambiguity, making calls on incomplete information and treating a pivot as new information instead of a setback.
- You bring people with you, building trust quickly, communicating proactively, and aligning a room even when the answer is no.
- You crave a team of smart, ambitious people who make the work fun and help you grow faster than you thought possible.
