About the role
Replit is seeking a communications professional to drive the narrative for our enterprise business as we scale our AI-powered software creation platform. You will manage public relations, executive visibility, and market positioning to reach key audiences including CIOs, developers, and business leaders. In this role, you will own the end-to-end story of Replit's enterprise transformation, ensuring that our shift from a developer-first tool to a business-critical platform is communicated with clarity and impact. You will serve as the primary architect of our enterprise narrative, translating complex product capabilities into strategic narratives that resonate across the C-suite and the engineering community. This position requires a balance of creative storytelling and operational rigor to align all external communications with the company's long-term vision. You will be the trusted advisor to executive leadership, shaping how the world understands Replit's role in the future of software creation.

What you'll do
- Lead enterprise communications strategy covering product launches, customer success, and partner announcements.
- Build and refine messaging regarding AI-driven software development, governance, and business productivity.
- Cultivate relationships with media outlets covering enterprise technology, AI, and software development.
- Partner with sales and marketing teams to support campaigns, events, and field narratives.
- Translate technical product capabilities into clear stories for both business and developer audiences.
- Engage with industry analysts and influencers to shape the conversation around enterprise AI adoption.
- Develop thought leadership content for executives, including speeches, bylines, and briefing materials.
- Manage competitive positioning against other AI coding tools, low-code platforms, and hyperscalers.
- Own the coordination of high-profile customer case studies and reference programs.
- Spearhead the integration of security and compliance narratives into all external communications.
- Create data-driven communication plans that align with product milestones and fiscal objectives.
- Oversee the production of executive-facing materials such as board-level briefings and investor updates.
- Establish reporting frameworks to measure message penetration and audience sentiment across key segments.
- Act as the central hub for crisis communication readiness and response within the enterprise narrative.
Requirements
- Proven experience in enterprise communications across product, partner, or executive functions.
- Ability to build and maintain relationships with top-tier technology and business press.
- Strong writing skills for various formats including blogs, social content, and launch materials.
- Experience working directly with customers to develop high-impact, credible case studies.
- Ability to explain complex technical topics like security, procurement, and AI agents to non-technical stakeholders.
- Comfort working in a fast-paced environment with shifting priorities.
- Understanding of how C-suite leaders and developers evaluate new technology.
- Willingness to be on-call for critical communications escalations as needed.
- Demonstrated success managing communications for a hyper-growth technology company.
- Strict adherence to confidentiality and data handling policies in all external engagements.
- Commitment to maintaining the accuracy and integrity of all public statements.
- Willingness to align closely with legal, sales, and product teams to ensure message consistency.
- Openness to feedback and iteration in a collaborative, cross-functional setting.
- Ability to manage multiple concurrent projects and deadlines without sacrificing quality.
Nice to have
- 10 to 15+ years of communications experience in B2B tech, SaaS, AI, developer tools, or cloud platforms.
- Existing network of contacts among enterprise, AI, and developer-focused reporters.
- Experience supporting sales-led growth and connecting product usage to business outcomes.
- Familiarity with the enterprise buyer journey, including security reviews and compliance.
- Background in investor relations or public company communications.
- Experience with ABM (Account-Based Marketing) strategies targeting enterprise accounts.
- Knowledge of developer advocacy and community engagement best practices.
